is there a way to minimize the volume audio output in s7700? mayabe if i can turn down the volume output a little bit will help solve the distorted sound of my player when playing audio cd.
I do not think so! I have 3 x 7000 and 3 x 7700. The 7700's play my entire collection My 7000s play 95% of it. Problems with a few DVD's. Thy are all region 1. I also have 2 x 7400 Pioneer DVD players and I cannot get any picture and sound and I use the same RGB connectors that I use with my Sony.
Those are two completely different machines . Do not be mislead by the looks which are similar, inside they are not even close, the hardware is all different. Assuming both machines re UNMODIFIED original region 1 players, the 2 possible reasons for the S7000 not playing certain titles only (and ONLY that set of those certain titles time and time again,, not some random ones each time you try)might be mastering errors on those discs or overall poor condition of the disc surface. You can easily check the total power on hours of each pickup of your S7000 and see how many hours each one has. If your DVD pickup in the 10K+ hours area then you really can't expect the it to perform the same as the day you purchased it. Both the S7000 and the S7700 use exactly the same dual laser pickup but different and incompatible firmware. there is really not much difference , playback wise, between the initial v1.00 Japanese domestic release of the S7000 firmware and the last know v1.81 besides the version numbers so regardless of the version a firmware upgrade is not likely to resolve the playback issues and definitely won't resolve issues associated with the aging hardware...
Yes, they are pro. machines NTSC/PAL. But the problem is not really playing, I have no access to the menu. It's like no signal get out of those 7000 machines.I do not understand why I have no signal at all and no sound either
S7000 cannot play PAL out of the box so either yours had been modded or you're wrong thinking it can while it cannot, again assuming the machine had never been modded. If you get no signal out the player then the player is OFF, obviously and if it really is and you cannot turn it on the only reason is the PSU is broken. If you CAN turn the player on, then I don't get what the issue is.
