Thanks for your explanation I'm using ECM - W2BT on the Sony ZV-E10 camera, but during the sound test, the sound from the microphone is not heard, is there a special setting on the ZV-E10 camera?

Just connected it up to the a7R lll using the analog setting and the levels look great. This thing is so small my fear is losing it in the bag.

I have a sony hx400v will a Sony external microphone work to some extent? I know they are not completely compatible but is it so much that I will notice? I shoot outside.

Howdy! I want to know if the transmitter can also be used to transmit stereo signal from an analog audio mixer to a camcorder? And of course, if the receiver has analog stereo audio output? Thanks!

Will this work on Sony ZV-E10, and is it true that the audio from the mic will get cut off if it is not facing the receiver directly. I am considering either the ECM-W2BT or the Rode Wireless GO II mic kit.

This is bluetooth, so direction doesn't matter. The mic on the receiver seems to point backwards so that will pick up sounds better for the person behind the camera. Probably designed that way so that if you have a blogger interviewing someone, the mix will let you hear both the interviewer behind camera and the person being interviewed (who wears the transmitter). Workson ZV-1 yes, as that camera supports all accessories using the MI Shoe.

There is so much hissing self noise in every review i've watched, even in this one, Sony's own video. Can you fix this in a firmware update or something? Also att -20 is too loud for most Sony cameras but we cant change the audio level when this is connected

Hi, I have a Sony RX100M7 (no compatible hot shoe) with a Smart rig metal cage to protect it. If I slide the ECM-W2BT receiver onto the cage's cold metal shoe will I short out (fry) the receivers electronics? Waiting for your reply before I try my ECM-W2BT out with my Sony RX100M7 which has no hot shoe.

Hi, after watching this video I bought this device but it ia not working when mount on hot shoe (showing error for compatibility with a7iii) however when ARC cable put on with analog selection on receiver it start working. Suggest what could be the issue

Sony why do you show this on the ZV-1 but when I plug it into my ZV1 it does not work. Camera says this accessory is not supported?? False advertising or will there be an update or something?

@@SonySupportUSA 🙌🏽 OMG I feel dumb 🤦🏽 just did thisvand it works without the cable thank you! I'm a little confused why it works in analog mode but not digital mode on the ZV-1. I thought I had to use the cable when in analog but it's doing some magic inside definitely glad it works!! 👊🏽

@@JamesDBuzzard i confused too.. i though analog mode for cable and if you want to use with other camera like canon .. switch to analog and plug in cable.. never though zv1 can do analog withou cable.. I zv 1 and zv e10 ..the only mode i change is digital on e10 amd analog on zv 1 ...

@@JamesDBuzzard There's too much static on ZV-E10 through hot shoe. Analog can be tuned out in camera by setting audio level. that option is disabled w/ hot shoe.
