On the FX6 - when shooting SLOG they say you should expose 2/3 stops more. How do I know I’m + 2/3 stops? Which meter in camera should I be using for this? what should the waveform and histogram look like when exposing for SLOG?
Talking from the pov of someone who have the fx6 as his first cinema camera, that's the best video out there!!! Would it be possible to have the PowerPoint slides that Alister have been using in the video?
Hi Claudio! Great to hear that you enjoyed the video. Unfortunately, we don't have access to Alister's presentation, hope you can use the information from the video as it is. Have a nice day! /Sanna
Great technical review, but with 4k, the real problem is fast horizontal camera moves. Like panoramic or sport subjects follows. Image gets a bad hard jerky look and the motion blur is not able to make the moves smoother (no bokeh, background as sharp). I do not find test footages (with no post....) to really see what the fx6 can do in those situations and no analysis too.
@@ryannethery6627 I didn't find it! I had my friend who is a long time FS7 shooter have a look at it, he couldn't find it either. It has to be Level Gauge, but it doesn't show, so maybe something that will be fixed in a firmware update?
please could you never use that ugly photo as a reference anymore? It's not useful as a reference, it is ugly, it is really a thing, that annoys me every time I see your otherwise great videos. Please don't use it. Use a model, or a bunch of models, or your wife, friends, whoever.
