Hello, none of these measures have fixed my issues. My KD-55X80K will sometimes connect ot my Wifi and then suddenly disconnect with the error "Wifi didn't accept the connection". My Wifi works without issues and I keep a number of other devices of all sorts connected without issues. When I finally established a connection it just has a speed of about 1 Mbit/s instead of between 50 and 100 as my other devices constantly yield. Do I have to return the TV or is there anything I could do?
After all these still my WiFi every 20 mins being disabled on the Bravia tv. Will you have soon an software update which after won’t be doing this ? All my other laptop and mobile has no issue with the internet only every once a while.
I am constantly having problem with getting a stable wifi connect with my Sony x85k TV and the only temporary solution is to reboot my TV by unplugging it for 2 minutes to get my wifi working properly again even though my laptop connected to the TV and the Sony speaker system that uses the same wifi has no problems with the wifi connect? I was thinking about trying a factory reset to see if that helps and the video says to backup your settings then do a factory reset but there was no explanation on how to backup and restore your settings? How do you do this?

I have a mixture of Sony and LG TV's in our home. The LG's work great. No connection issues. The Sony's are consistent in that they both have connection issues. NEVER Sonly again! Very disappointing.
Bought one and sold it after a year because of stupidest problem I encountered like wifi and bluetooth keep switching off. Then I bought another android tv from other brand and never ever had those issues. Best decision ever and it’s cheaper too!
My TV doesn't let me turn on the wi-fi, when I turn it on it turns off inmediately. I already changed the date & time, restart from fabric, unplug it and nothing changes. Please help 😭 It's a Sony Bravia XBR-65X800G
@@papilspon4781 I couldn’t fix it by myself, the wi-fi and bluetooth card was damaged and it had to be replaced by a new one 😪I was told that is a common problem in Sony Bravía tv’s, good luck bro

My Sony Bravia XBR 65X850G randomly looses its network connection when turned off and back on. I then have to sign in to FUBO TV again and again. I am using a wired connection and have latest software, power reset and have even hard coded the network IP. Any suggestions?

This Sony 77" A80L is the only device on my network that won't connect, all other devices work fine. I refuse to reboot my router because I have an internet radio station and don't want to disrupt the music for my listeners. Can't believe I paid $2700 for a TV that won't connect to the internet properly. Yes I tried a soft reset.
Same here. Constantly dropping Connection. Changed to 2.4GHz and all other devices to 5Ghz and it got better. Now I have No Connection after turning the TV on. Need to manually connect and then it works.

It happens only if someone is connected to your wifi network... check if any unknown devices are connected to your router and remove/block them manually
I soft restarted, soft reset, rebooted internet modem and router, and factory rest my barely 2 year old TV, nothing worked. No updates pending. 😕 just not a good TV. For almost 2 years I've had random wifi issues on this TV. The internet signal is always strong and there aren't dozens of devices connected to it, just the TV that has all the issues. Now it just won't connect at all. A DAY BEFORE XMAS AND SONY OFFICES ARE CLOSED. I'm trying not to get too upset but thanks sony, thank you sooooooo freaking much for this disaster. merry freaking Christmas 😡

Hello, I’ve also tried everything to try to get my tv properly connected to the wifi again. I keep getting the notification that my tv is connected to the wifi, but there is no internet. I’ve now tried the steps that you recommended, but it didn’t work. I’ve just done a connection control and got the notification that my router probably doesn’t have the right settings for a connection with my internetprovider. This could be possible, however my tv has been connected to this router for the past month without any problems until yesterday. It’s hard to believe the problem would be coming from my router since it has been working for a while. My phone is also still connected to the router without any problems. I’m dissapointed and frustrated. I don’t know what to do anymore. Are there any other tips to get this working again? Thanks in advance.

this didn't work, but i followed another comment. what worked for me is going to system setting changing date and time not to be from the network and then manually setting the right time...no idea how this works but it worked for me
No none of this has worked. After updating it won't connect to any of the apps. If I do a factory reset will I lose the apps. I can get the normal youview channels that's it. Can't get prime etc. Says not connected and none of this has worked. Not tried factory reset.

Just stopped connecting and now says my password is incorrect, even after I e punched it in 10 times. This has happened before too. I hate this fucking tv, and will never buy another one.

I spent hours /days on the phone with SONY at did every step I did and still nothing. They guy had me connect to hot spot on my phone? This is a lemon! I called my cable company and they said that the TV showed up as a Accer Tablet? not Sony. The cable guy was really helpful, all my devices work perectly, except this crap TV. Sony won't replace it, even tho they know its a LEMON.

Can I just get my money back? I mean I payed ways more for this pos only to have all kinds of connectivity issues. FIrst was remote stopped working, then the auto power off never worked anymore either. Now the wife bs. Ridiculous as I see it seems a widely common occurence. My very old Sonny works like a breeze still.
This tv is garbage! The build in WiFi turns off on its own. This POS is the only electronic device in my whole house that has any issues. Waste of money and will be in the trash this week. Happens weekly and now none of the troubleshooting tries helps. JUNK
I just purchased the Bravia KD85X77CL model. This tv is straight up garbage!! I am taking it back to Sam’s Club! The WiFi keeps disconnecting every time I turn on the tv i have to reconnect. it also wont stay connected to the soundbar, i have to relink the Bluetooth each time after restarting it! Sony obviously once was a standard in the industry, but now from all the pages on the internet as well as videos on RU-vid, Sony is synonymous with straight up trash!
Don't buy this TV. This is most useless TV I've ever heard. Can't wait to get rid of it. Why should I keep troubleshooting a TV with different issues from storage to Internet to connectivity etc.

@@SonySupportUSA UPDATE : tried every possible trouble shooting on Sony website and nothing. However ! the date and time was wrong for some reason! i corrected that and everything went back to normal!
