This was found to be in very abused non-functioning condition, on top of the usual age-related, high use, & Nicotine poisoning. One channel was inoperative. Tape buttons frozen. Radio not receiving well. After replacement of one output IC, cleaning pots, controls, re-flowing grounds, connections, etc. The main unit functions quite well again. The tape unit needed the usual re-lubrication in critical spots, along with a main drive belt. Update: Since the video, this unit has had considerable run time, & sounds fantastic. It's been pushed near it's 15W per channel for hours, without issue. The cassette player records & plays although the rubber is aged on the take-up, pinch roller, etc. It still works well & could only benefit from locating replacements for those pieces. The auto stop is also working properly now. All in all, a great unit for it's age, & came out well enough for the work done.
