These have received multipoint connectivity since your video. I think that makes them one of the best buds recently at this price. I really enjoyed your video. It demonstrates small nuances no one really mentions. Earbuds can sound excellent, but bad gesture-controls or lack of features or uncomfortable fit can really kill the point and be showstoppers for me.
Hi, great review, I'd like to ask, how's the sound when using ambient mode? Like can you still listen to music mode while ambient mode is active? If yes how is the sound quality of the music mixing in with the outside noise. I have a use case for these that are honestly a much better fit for the original LinkBuds donuts, and it is using them while riding so I can be aware of my surroundings while riding. It'll be for listening to music while riding while also taking calls if needed. The problem is that the LinkBuds S is on sale for $123 (currency converted) in my region and that the Donuts are only $10 less, So for a value perspective it's better to get these instead of the donuts. I'd like to rely on the transparency mode while riding as I still do consider the ANC as a "nice to have" whenever I need it.
Does your earbuds automatically change mode as soon as you start call so that you hear all surroundings? It seems like ANC is not working at all during the call and there is some white noise happening as soon as the call/ recording is started. Do you have same issue? Thanks
Stop promoting garbage products. Sony is a dying brand therefore limited/useless support. My purchased my Sony Linkbuds S in Germany and migrated to Canada. My battery died after 5-6 months and Sony support wants me to send them back to service centre in Germany.
I want to use linkbuds s with my windows 7 laptop but someone told me I won't be able to pair them because they require A2DP technology which is not available in Windows 7 Is that correct??
Listening time is nowhere near even 6hrs theres noway in hell u could stretch it to 14hrs u might get 6-14 hrs stand by time but running time no chance!!!
Hello, I have a question: I bought the link buds s and use them with my Oppo phone, so Android. It has a Bluetooth version 5.0 but the link buds need 5.1. Is that why I have problems with Connectivity? It does connect but interrupts a lot. I guess there is nothing I can do?
I just got mine and I’m so confused. I don’t see any explanation of how you can answer calls without actually using your phone. And I’ve also had someone tell me that they heard me “far away” even though I had the ear buds on and was right next to my phone.
Hi..just wanna ask if have you tried it to pair with a DAP or digital audio player if pairing is smooth and sounds good?thanks for the reply..God bless
Bought these a few days ago. The audio quality is very good. They stay put in my ears with no issues. My only complaint is the short battery life. Enabling LDAC and DSEE Extreme have a big impact on battery life but it does sound great.
So I got mine yesterday and already I'm having problem with the right hand earbud draining before the left one I reset them a couple of times and it's made no difference anybody any ideas??
