Daylight, slow motion, night shot. Tests using pict profile, gain, shutter speed, scenes not graded and graded, see the results with this new 1" Exmor RS sensor.
Don't forget, SUBSCRIBE
Only one big problem to operate this camera: Menu and cursor button is on top of body, below of the LCD
Not alternative to easy access menu. The CBM software or remote control no have menu button. To change zebra, pict profile and others basics features you can set shortcut but can't set the Feature, only above or using remote control to touch set buttons.
It's a great camera, only less buttons what needed.

Only 120fps slow motion is FullHD.

Beautiful vid, thanks! The zoom starts and stops so abruptly, have you found a way to smoothly control the zoom?

On my old HVR Z1 has a feature to mark start and end point zom and focus, automatic. This camera no have it. But you can set the speed.

After 02:19 all scenes not graded. The test with PP starts on 04:54. But PP1 and PP2 i made changes from default.

Used PP1 and PP2 modified. Near of end i change the all profiles and results

What about limitations on outputs i read on forum and see on RU-vid this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QNEGYocrUxc.html from the minute 16:45. if you want to stream via HDMI on 4K, suddenly when you hit record button the picture on camera LCD screen disappear or picture on HDMI output disappear... Is this only on 4K resolutions or lower? Please can you record video for show that? Or just please answer.

No. Only video. but if you get a 4K frame you have a 3840x2160 jpg "photo".

How do you set the camera to "low lux" mode? I can't figure it out...

You need open 100% ND filter, open Iris 100% and down shutter speed to 1/30. After this, up gain till ~12dB to low noise. Try it and say to me.

Thanks--I ended up just "initializing" the camera to restore it to factory settings and then I was able to use the low lux setting. I think it was just a glitch!

Eu não sou fabricante nem loja da Sony. Desculpe se não gosta de galinhas mas eu não ia investir milhares de reais para criar um filme demo da Sony, ela faz isso na página dela. Por outro lado, galinhas são otimas para testar slow motion por que se movem muito rápido.

Why not make sure that you are truly saved by Jesus Christ and practice this way. Remorsefully confess with your heart your sins to Jesus Christ who is God and tell Him that you right now are repenting of your sins and you want to be born again of the Spirit from above. Tell Jesus that you are remorsefully sorry for breaking His commandments and that you are begging for forgiveness from Him. Allow His blood from the cross to wash away your sins. After this is done with your heart successfully the Holy Spirit will come to live within you and He will rebuild you from the inside out. Look for signs that you are living righteously. Things like spreading the good news from Jesus, getting other people saved, a craving for the word of God, reading the Bible etc. These things are known as a calling and fruit bearing. If you're not bearing fruit then keep doing it. Sometimes it takes time to get saved. Read Matthew chapter 13 from the King James Bible. God bless!

it's funny when people show graded images from this camera this is not a cine camera this for news, eng, documentary, journalism thins that do not require color grading you buy it for everything else but grading

Yes, but the new firmware have HDR. The large sensor help to get some features to cinema. Of course, the lens fixed not help to great DOP. New Firmware 2.00 Support for High Dynamic Range (HDR) by shooting in Hybrid Log-Gamma* (HLG) standard and you can record in XAVC 4:2:2 10-bit. This camera, about to be for news, have low saturation color and the presets not create a "miracle". Graded images are applied till in post with DJI Phantom what have mini-camera onboard. Depending what you need to finished film you need to do color grading

A camera can be used for whatever need the user desires, that is part of having creative vision. We are not limited in how we use our tools. If something works for your purpose it works, regardless of what magazine tells you how you should use your tools. Also, more than just a camera goes into a true cinema look anyway. This camera has 10 bit color internal and grades nicely BTW.
