Sony's rumored ZV E10 II is expected to be announced in Spring 2024, but they have to get this one thing right, otherwise it might be a huge downfall of this highly anticipated camera. Sean, I've been watching all of your videos and you seriously do a phenomenal job both explaining and teaching as well as your delivery and you've leveled up my benchmark for what i need to do to improve as a creator who is so new and still needing to learn so much. You've helped me more than you know and i even carry with me, your quick reference guide that i downloaded for my Vlog & locked off settings in my ZV-e10. Thank you for what you're doing!

I dont see many people talking about one thing, like at all...that is... getting these cameras to upload to your phone absolutely seamlessly. People like me, who want the quality of a camera, but the convenience of a phone. The app is infamous at best, for not being able to easily transfer over media. I have to carry with a usbc dongle, take out the memory card, plug it into my phone, upload the media, then any video shot on portrait edit it so its rotated correctly, then unplug the memory card, plug it back into the camera, delete the media recently uploaded, and thats a whole process. When with a phone, its snap, saved, upload to cloud. I might be in the minority, but this is a valid point I think. If cameras ever want to convince but more importantly keep new customers, this is how. Itll be good for the overall camera community too.

Have had my Zv-E10 since it launched and it has been solid really for the price. Things that I would love to see updated though ---- - 10 bit - Better/much bright LCD - Better Battery Life - Less rolling shutter - No Crop 30p and tiny crop 60p That's about it for me at this price point.

Agreed and I think you'll get some of that...the rolling shutter is one that I wouldn't bank on, but it's all speculation at this point

Thank you 🙏 dear Sean for another great video from you. This has inspired me to write to you and all your viewers here about how a pure hobby photographer and videographer sees it. As you probably know, I've been using the ZV E10 for over one year from now, partly because of your videos. About the known weaknesses you mentioned: Autofocus. Perfectly adequate for my hobby. Better would always be nice. 8-bit color. Ok, 10-bit would be nice if you have it. 4k slow motion: Yes, please if it’s possible. Camera stabilization: Yes, that would definitely be an argument to change! Menu: Sony and menus. I'd rather not talk about the menu here. What I always say, an Apple trainee has been practicing. Sony and intuitiveness? Two worlds collide. Sony, please improve it, on all of your devices. The current one drives me always insane, when I need something quick. Touchscreen, yes please. Z battery would be something, too. A full weatherproof enclosure would be very welcome here! Please keep up your good work. I appreciate it so much. Oh man… time flies, I got the ZVE 10 when it released and feels like a few months, not 2 years already, I would love to see the 10bit color

Time certainly flies - me and you both on that 10 bit. I can see it going either way but I have a hard time seeing them not including it.

I'd be concerned about the heat factor too. Maybe due to omitting the mechanical shutter they manage to cram in enough cooling. Let's see. What seems to be a likely bummer is that it seems like they don't want to inlcude IBIS.

I'm currently running with the Sony FX30. A great camera. One feature I hope starts to appear in upcoming new cameras is the ability to record to an SSD. The Panasonic G9ii and S5iix are able to do this. I'm looking at the S5iix as a potential next step to upgrading my cameras. I might even get the G9ii. But, I would like to stay with Sony if possible. P.S. I hope Sony does reach out to you so you can get early access to more cameras for review. You deserve it!

Couldn't agree more about the SSD thing. I suspect that we will see that in the next version of the FX line Thanks for that, I'd love to be able to get y'all reviews and tutorials ASAP and early access would help A TON

After watching a lot of ZV-E10 unboxing, we see many people who are graduating or adding a camera with their phone or other camera. This will fit nicely for those who want a quick and dirty video without dropping lots of $$$. The features we can expect are going to be a godsend, especially with the superior focusing system. I see this little guy as the one you grab for those family outing or street videography/photography with a camera so small people won't take notice. If it has a mechanical shutter from the a6700, it will be a photographer's delight. Don't always need the big and heavy camera to take photos on the run.

Brother like always you put your heart and soul into your videos. Most speculation videos it’s just someone talking to a camera. You have amazing graphics, editing and story line. 🫡 I would love to see a video about your lens journey. I’m thinking about getting my second one after the amazing tamron 28-75 GII.

Bruh don't worry I got one 3 months ago for cheap in the largest sale here, use kit lens learn and upgrade to full frame in future. Think long term and get better lens. Also chance that Nikon might grow in mirroless as their mount size is larger. Happy learning. Plus this zv e10 camera is portable and doesn't over heat

Agree with a lot of this, but I don't think it's going to offer the ability to do use in camera LUT's and I hope I'm wrong about them skipping IBIS. If it's under $1000 with IBIS, that would make it the least expensive camera with IBIS, if I am not mistaken. I'll pre-order if it has IBIS for under $1k. Sony make strange decisions though, I think because they DON'T need to kill their competition because their competition still users their sensors anyway.

So what should I do? Get the a6700 for my birthday (1/31), or wait for the ZV-E10 mII? BTW, I love my ZV-E10 because it was my first “Real Camera” I purchased last year…….on my birthday. Great video, and PLEASE help a brutha out. 🤣 🍻

My 0.02 is you should buy lenses. The zv-e10 is good for the next couple of years, at least. Upgrading each generation is expensive. You can shoot amazing stuff with great lenses. Just my thoughts :) (I own the fx30, A7IV, and the Zv-e10 is the one I take the most with me because it is way easier to carry)

I think you expect to much ;) i suppose that zve10 has to be still simple, light, small and budget friendly for small bloggers and content creators and with price simmilar to osmo pocket 3 to be able to fight with ot cause pocket destroyed the marked this year! Zve10m2 maybe better stabilisaztion, maybe autoframing still 8 bit and maybe something small also but not too much. Packi g with a lot of features cost money that regular JOE is not ready to pay, and its camera for Joe so need to be simple, small, light. Im also not sure if they will put a new 26mp sensor in it. ... There is no reason for that ;)

Will it be same as pocket i was waiting over a year for release 😂 incgeneral its very good for begginers, one think i wished in it was better stabilization. Some mlbould in ibis or actove and 4k 120. That would be my wishlist 🤪 now i got a6700 in a agood deal so sont care so much but will deffinitely take a look 😉 Greats!
