Relatively that's a Pandora's box! I would check the fuses in the left hand power supply board (viewed from the front of the machine) but it does sound like it'll probably be more involved - happy to help where I can though but just be careful and pull the power when you check those fuses!

@@MrBetaByte check them even tho the machine is receiving power and the clocks flashing?

Yes as the fuses supple different areas of the electronics so the fuse that feeds the clock is OK but the fuse that (for example) feeds the logic board might not be. You'll need a meter to do this as on visual inspection the fuses might seem OK but might have gently popped. Let me know how you get on - I may well dig out the service manual and give you some extra pointers if the fuses are all OK.

hi am using a pro hi 8 hi-fi cam i know the tape drive is very bad there's video coming out of the RCA stockets i will doing a video on the betacam 1800 i pulled apart a deck and part the the, away there's one left in the work shop i need the vu part that's all re cap did not work it's a lot i am moving the 100ub out of the nice place i keep them in the house there racks in the boys room it' move to a new place cover up the pipe work and new floor a heating forf the video decks not out side solder don't like the very cold a tec told me bob
