Good review and comparison. Got this in white for 104 quid during Prime Day. Great speaker....got a hard case and usb charging cables too from the world of Amazon. Replaced my rather good creative sound blaster. Things I don't like are the propriety cable business and as the power goes down, the volume get limited....C'mon Sony, sort it out.....
Great video, but defiantly need to do an Actual Performance review. I have the Bose SL Mini and the XB 30 and frankly, despite claiming a 24Hr battery, it has about 8 hour while the bose has 10. I think this video should be redone with actual performance comparisons rather than owner manual claimed specs! Great job tho!
The Sony XB30 I just bought to replace my Bose sounds better than it because my Bose won't charge at all, it's broken even after updating the firmware and resetting it 😭 guess I can wait a little to send it in for repair now I have the Sony!
@@WhatGear apprciate it. I have very limited space to work with.I'm planning on using and Aux cable to hook it up to my my ps4 Pro controller. The speakers on my PC monitor arent the best, and again I have very limited space to work with... The Xb30 really caught my eye.
It destroys the bose and if you buy it you should download the app and push treble and bass to maximum and mids 2 notches higher and the xb30 will sound really great.
+Goku London if you're looking for headphones for editing. I would suggest going for something with a more balanced sound. I previously used Sony MDR1. They have awesome bass and really crisp sound. Originally the rrp was £350...now you can pick the up for £120. They're a bargain right now
sony better with slight eq u can adjust using eq when u have a good base performance but denon doesn't have that great base performance, I mean right out of the box denon is good but sony as time goes it gets better and more better if your friends have one u may ask them
WhatGear no, the sony is the cheapest one here and also the best so why am i a sony fan? I only care about the quality of a product and not the brand. The Denon Envaya 250 is much better than the XB30
Eh, really doubt the xb30 is 30 watts...30 watts is pretty loud and that little thing? Nah. More like 10-15 at the most, but it's all good. I doubt the sony employees at the store are right...ask the engineers who designed the thing.
