Good tutorial video. But for beginners it's always important to emphasize ESD straps and screw locations. I was actually more interested in seeing the LCD disassembled as the hinge is broken on mine lol. Thanks.

I found the CMOS battery. It's on the underside of the motherboard around where the Wireless Card socket is i.e. where the gent is working around 5:35 in the video. I managed to replace it by removing the screws around that area of the motherboard and gently lifting the corner of the motherboard, I then used a very small flat screwdriver to pop the battery connector out, and the same, along with my fingers, to connect the replacement battery. it is fiddly, but possible.

It'd be nice to see someone other than a butcher take it apart. This seems like the "Cannibalize a sony laptop". Don't worry about putting it back together.
