A Raspberry pi UMPC. An open platform device to use and create.It is fully open-source hardware. So you can hack it as you wish.You can make your expansion-card like GPS, Radio etc and attach them. You can access all the ports of the pi and the back part is attached with 4 screw. It can hold a 4" or 3.5" touch screen. Also have a physical keyboard attached via USB. It don't need any custom image of Raspbian. You can use vanilla Raspbian and install the LCD driver, that's it.
So little parts needed to make one. The cost is low. The priciest thing is the LCD and Pi.

The GPD Win3 is much better decive, with much better GNU/Linux support. Also you have some chinese pocket UMPC for reasonable prices, but with other form factor.

Hi, yes. All drivers are there when you install Debian. I believe with recent updates in Debian that SD card issue I mentioned is partially fixed.

These things are so amazing and expensive still. My only thing is what all can we do with one of these really to this day? Sadly it can't game or anything like that.

The functionality and customization that mutantC offers, helps user to use it so many different places. I know one guy used it to monitor his telescope. So it depends on the user and his use case. Your one is gaming.

The silver and black ones contain a 32-bit cpu which cannot run many games but the all completely black ones like in the video contain a 64-bit cpu so you can play many more games and do a lot more things.
