I've been enjoying my Enco M31's (that i bought after your recommendation of course). But the extended treble makes them fatiguing especially at high volume. Hardware level EQ sounds like an amazing feature. Should be exciting to try out the different settings until you find the perfect tuning for your ear. Great job Sony for bringing such an exciting product at this price point!
Thanks for putting out the review video for this at the right time,I was looking out for a good pair of neckband earphones and this have definitely impressed me. Have been following your audiophile content for a long time now and you seem to be impressed by the product,the hardware EQ feature is really great and also great to have it in this price range.
Wow!!! The right neckband came just at the right time (for me) and with such an amazing review from an audiophile. I was looking for a good sounding (I prefer balanced sound signature) neckband or TWS to purchase. Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro was my only option but I've always tried to avoid TWSs for some obvious reasons. I need good battery life and better mic which has always been an issue with TWSs. And hardware EQ is just the cherry on the cake. Now as I just came to know about this from your video, I decided to buy one (if I don't get selected in the giveaway XD). Thank you a lot. :)

The wire instead of band is something I was looking for but couldn't find it on any good earphones. They seems very balanced and value for money. Amazing review, love your style of presentation.

Phew! It has been such a long wait to find an able neckband under 2000 (even above 2000!) after my experience with oppo enco m31 which was great. Eventually, it had to be Sony! Cometh the art, cometh the champion.

Thanks for your review and especially the EQ settings. As I'm trying out the settings, I notice that the vocals become a bit subdued. Is that the way they are supposed to sound? Also, I noticed that you didn't adjust the bottom "Clear Bass" setting. Is that because it's a Sony gimmick, or can it enhance the sound?
Vocals can sound a bit muffled in comparison to the default EQ settings, because you're decreasing the upper frequencies. EQ is present to tune the sound according to your liking, so you can set it any way you feel is the best, however, with my ears which are used to listening to studio equipment, I find those settings to be the closest to a 'flat' or neutral sound. You can try using those EQ settings for some time, and see how well you get used to them, if you still don't like them, you can increase them a bit to reach a point that's balanced for you. Clear bass is just like regular bass boost or reduction. I didn't find the need to use it, but you can experiment.
I like the w1 series, ive been buying them for about 2 years because they're cheap, and decent quality with good battery life. However every pair I've had stops working after about 3-5 months of heavy use. By that I mean practically used around the clock (I fall asleep using them), but treated very well, and they do eventually break.
I watch all your reviews, simply for the honesty with which you review them. Out of Oppo Enco M31 and Sony WI-C100, which one is the better out of the two ?? Also, do they come with multi-point connectivity ??
DSEE can restore sound quality of compressed files? Is it so.... They say that source quality matters less when you've got hifi headphones or speakers . I read somewhere in audiophile forums or RU-vid. Time to worry less about flacs wav MQA DSD
I am looking for neckbands to listen my audiobooks while doing exercise or walking. Using Sennheiser 598HD since last 5 years for audiobooks. Still sounds great. But I don't want to use it when i am moving or sweating.

I've been using the sony MDR-EX15AP/15LP for years, and even though those are wired I'm wondering if the sound quality is better on the WI-C100 cuz if not i might as well keep using the wired ones. I use them mostly for podcasts and videos. What do you think? Nice review btw.
These are pretty much as good as basic wired earphones if not better , as they have custom EQ. For podcasts and videos, these are just perfect. Very lightweight and small.

I was never able to digest going wireless when we get great iems for under 5k. Now its hardly get any phones with headphone jacks , good to see sony upping their game especially hardware level EQ! Would like to have these as my first wireless earphones.
Their great sounding headphones but what brought me here is I’m running in the park on a windy day and the two power banks blow off my shoulders making them uncomfortable
Hi Bro. It's from Sri Lanka. PLEASE HELP ME IF YOU READ THIS SHARING YOUR OPINION. Your channel is universal cause u talk in English. Since most of these products are focused on India market, all the reviewers are talking their native language. Appreciate you decide to keep it in English. And look for your opinion for my uncertainty about headphones. I'm using Lenovo HE05X as it was my first bluetooth headset. And then I bought Sony WI-XB400 looking for better sound...after reviewing 100s of reviews. BUT sadly i have experience that the sound quality of Sony WI-XB400 nowhere close to my Lenovo HE05X which was way cheap than sony. I find that Lenovo HE05X handle sound very well and it gives heavy deep bass which is so wonderful to listen. (bass never muddy and do not get mixed up with others at all and very isolate) And the instrumental separation... the perception of instruments location are way better than sony (or better than any other headphone i tried ie. soundcore, Haino Teko)... and the Lenovo HE05X 360 degree sound is truly amazing (but nobody would believe that cheap headset gives way high quality sound than other expensive brands). But Lenovo battery is just 6-8Hrs max. Watching your this video, I think to buy Sony WI-C100 since u recommend it and the battery is 20+HRs... but I doubt will I be disappointing buying WI-C100 if the sound quality is not better than compare to WI-XB400 (OR compare to Lenovo HE05X if u have ever tried). will you give me your opinion please...
