My grandmother got me this speaker when I graduated high school and I can attest, it’s been 4 or 5 years since then and this lil speaker is still bumping hard and sounds great. I would recommend to anyone

Pretty sure there was decent bass in the song that just wasn't picked up by the microphone, the speaker was moving around due to the vibrations from the bass after all.

No mistake on this one. Battery lasts longer than 12 hours at 50 percent volume. The extra bass can be controlled through the Sony Music App on a Sony device. I wouldn’t mind hearing two of these paired together!

Should play phone sound on loud without speaker then speaker on so we can compare to phone speaker volume sorry if that don’t make sense

RICKY you reviewed this small speaker 4 months ago. After four months your thoughts. I did buy it last week as I have both the Echo and Google for a reason to listen it in my office. I am just having trouble pairing it. Focusing more to use it on the Alexa system and the app does not have a bluetooth category. Just find a device wiithout luck. It does work on my S8+. Pairing for DUMMIES. Does say for specs.... Speaker phone Voice Assist Function. When I got it from Amazon it did say works with Amazon and Google. Thx

Suggestion - Next time you do a loudness test use a Decibel Reader and compare it to another device.

@The RU-vid Tech Guy... I just saw this video. I also just immediately ordered this speaker within10 seconds after viewing this video (which is unusual for me). I generally take some time to look around and compare but this speaker really looked great. Today is Friday Oct. 6th and I should receive it on the 8th. I'll check back in with a honest review in 2-3 days. Thank you... Keith G

I've heard around 4.5 hours. Battery is around 14-15 hours from people testing it, so charge time is well worth it

Sanguine Sage i have this sony.loudest sound BT with small size is oontz angle 3 but no bass at all and very bad overall in sound.this is just OK if $20-30.for comparison i have blitzwolf BW-F3 and only $22 rugged ipx5 and so much loud and clear than this $50++ sony.

The speaker is for quality , but not for LOUD music , if someone wants loud speaker , go for a big speaker that has bigger box

I ordered a load of different Bluetooth speakers - this one is AMAZING for the size and weight (220g). Nothing comes close for travel - size+weight/performance. This should be getting 5* in all reviews - I don't think reviewers are taking into account the size & weight vs sound quality & presence.

Sony always sucks..I think Anker SoundCore Mini US Black and Mi Bluetooth Speaker Basic 2 is better than this and Anker gives you FM feature as well.
