I've had mine for about a year. I broke my B1s by accident when I dropped them off my head (i was heartbroken lol) and decided to buy the N1s. Great headphones but I am paranoid about the durability of the swivel. Great for using at home while doing work at the desk, but I definately feel a bit uneasy traveling with them.
i absolutely love these headphones, but they're soooo fragile.. my pair broke after 3 years of owning and thats my 3rd pair of sony's.. so i just switched to beats by dre today
Was thinking about picking some up today.......I'm looking for something louder than my crushers and a little more bass than my UFO plus....would this be a good buy
More bass than the UFO Plus... and louder than the Crushers?! My man... You're gonna have a hard time finding that considering you already own the UFO Plus. Those things have a TON of bass and they're loud as hell! 🙌
No these dont even sound better in person I do own one sold it to someone who like it better and I say my jlab that just cost $50 dollar sound way better then these crap.
Just doin audio... couldnt help myself today best buy putthesw on clearance for 50.99..... thats right 50.99 bought 2 of em and got pair of AKG n700nc M2 on the way togo with my badass mpow h12 for only 28 bucks lol... for real thi the mpow h12 are insanely good for that price but cant wait to hear the ones on the way especially the akg but man just wanna say thanks for all the great vids... you kickass man
@@saaimtariq5461 I had my pair for about two years and I dropped them so many times and only one part of joint that attaches to the cup had cracked finally. I really like the headphones personally. I'm going to buy another pair soon hopefully.
I own both the WH-CH700N and the MDR-XB950B1 which is basically the same as N1. The CH700 has good deep bass that extends low, but not in the same amount as the XB950. The CH700 sounds a bit more harsh, with a spike in the 10Khz upper midrange that in general can make recordings sound a bit "spikey". The XB950 on the other hand never sounds harsh or brittle, they are just so warm and bassy that just pulls you in, without being bloated. The CH700 is a bit flatter and down't have that immediate warmth that is so inviting. Also, the CH700 needs to be turned on even when using the 3.5mm cable, otherwise they sounds quite flat without much bass. @@ryanprimadijasman8070 Should never make a buy one those headphones, they don't sound as good they mostly focus on bass its bass heavy even yes no bass boost turn on. I tell you what if you can buy Jlab earbuds epic air sport for just $70 bucks. You hear a big difference in sound, your bass will be more punchier cleaner then xb950n1 that just focus more on bass heavy though you can hear the sound just not as clearer. Sold mine held it 2 years got bored with it.
Bro stop playing and get those 1000xm3s already. I had the N1s and I took them back 2 days later. The m3s destroy the n1s on sound quality and I don’t even want to talk about the noise canceling.

If you don't care about noise cancellation I would skip the 1000xm3's and go for the vmoda crossfade 2 wireles codex edition. I would also get the XXL ear cups with them too. They sound way better than the Sony 1000xm3's
Could you tell how the headband of the N1 compares to the BT? Wider/slimmer, taller/shorter? I have a case for my BT and the curvature of the case fits the headband perfectly. Wondering if the N1 would fit in my case as well.
How does the noise cancelling compare to the 1000XM3 ? I tried the XM3 with a friend and completely isolates you, how much of that you get with the XB950N1 ?
Should I get these ones for 118$ or the ch700n's for 98$? Which do you recommend more? I'd use them pretty much for everything from chilling out, studying and even the gym.
The ch700n i tried was terrible. Those were hurting my ears within the first song. I dont know why sony would jeapordise their name giving such bad sound quality at S$249. Very disappointed. Lucky i demo them before buying. Bought myself an xb950n1. If its beyond your budget, get a used set.
thanks for your response sir... as far as my ears are concerned ,i do like bass but not at the cost of other things,i dont like muddy sound,just in a confusion that whether the 700n's can produce bass which satisfying? or xb950n1's are so bass heavy that they can muffle the mids and highs with no sound stage?!!!...coz i m moving to headset from in ears(sony xb50ap)...
There not gonna be wow amazingsound quality there just not even close to bose too. Your paying for the NC and bit of sound quality with that Xtra bass. it has okay sound the clarity is good but it make me cringe everytime I play my favorite music it just doesn't sound good, the next is bass is very heavy there hardly mids but the high are not as great no clear. My jlab earbuds that just cost $50 bucks sound so much better then these crap and yes I had mine XB950n1 for 2 years.
Non of the headphones you mentioned don't even come near the bass on the Nuraphones. I know you don't like the price or style but they truly are. Believe me brother😋

Dude man the ear wholes are smaller, I couldn't figure it out for a while because my n1s were very uncomfortable, I couldn't wear them anywhere near as long as the bts, I never had an issues with my old pair but these new ones I can't go more than an hour with them on. Thought I was going crazy
I had these for 2 years and I say it doesn't sound as good they make my music sound cringy.... Honestly My jlab earbuds wireless $50 dollar sound way better then these and the bass is not heavy its more punchy and kicky even at a low volume. Please eople just gotta stop buying the XB950n1 or any of there headphones that has xtra bass. Now if it earbuds that cost $100 there maybe sony it is but for there headphones no.
I always test headphones on camera at full volume. I also stop the background music so you can hear them. The mic amplifies the leakage a little bit though.
its okay but it least it's louder then skullcnady crusher wirless but the clarity isn't clean its okay doesn't sound cheap, its not what you gonna compare to the solo beats 3 and bose headphones. I honestly say my $50 dollar earbuds jlab sound way better then this crap. I held my sony for about 2 years and decide to sell it cause its boring sound lol its just bass heavy.
tron legacy ending but you must turn the bass eqaulizer up and if you using chromebook or window 10 there a app chrome store that let you tune your taste. Here what it sound like once you max your volume and hit bass button. If you heard the skullcandy crusher it be the same but not as good.

I personally didn’t like the xbn1. Not that great build quality, poor nc (it seems good in a room as it blocks low frequencies) and as a basshead, it didn’t even have that much of bass, which I should mention seemed very....digital.
