WORTH THE UPGRADE? : Sony Extra Bass MDR-XB950N1 REVIEW! 

Tobi Bl they are good headphones. I had them since Christmas. I have read reviews on Amazon after a year of using the plastic will break. Is this true? Or is yours still good since you bought it?

the mic is good, people can clearly hear you, but can also hear all the noise aroud you.

Not at all loud, try the whch700 n's they sound better and are louder!

agreed. Sony makes some great headphones but every time they release the Extra Bass series it seems to be too much. i think they realized that and decided to give you more control this time around

The retail price difference is Sony: $250 and the Skullcandy: $90 I bought them both on sale Sony: $200 and the Skullcandy $60

the Skullcandy headphones in the video are the Grind Wireless, it's the Crusher Wireless that are the ones comparible to these Sony's

And the "Sudio Klar" did the job, everything is present in the music...but the "ANC" could have been quieter ,it has a strange "wishi-whoshi" sound when listening to quiet music and it makes the sound "thinner" when used on PC. This issue is not present when listening on a mobile-phone!

personally I like the Crusher Wireless more

the Sony's have more bass but the 4.40bt has better soundstage and a better overall sound

For Bass: Sony XB950N1 For Noise Cancelling: 4.50 The Best out of the three: 4.40 (has more bass than the 4.50 and does a really good job at cancelling out noise)

These last 2 years hasn't broke but sold it cause it just all about the bass not soundstage I wanted.

oh and i noticed that in the video you mentioned that you like to have the option to use cable if you need to use them with your computer and i use a bluetooth dongle for my computer i think its called asus b400 or something like that. i think you should look into buying one if you want to use bluetooth with your computer. even tho the volume level is a bit low on the one i have i think it works great

i would go with the 4.40. you get nice bass and much better highs than the Sony's My PC has bluetooth but the times when I decide to stream I like to use a headphone cable that has a mic built in so that I can stream that way

oh i just looked it up and the 4.40 are about half the price in my country if you compare them with the sony's, the 4.40 are only a 100 bucks.

Noise cancellation, a slightly redone build, a bit uglier design (in my opinion) and voice assistance for power and Bluetooth connection. Not too much, but still pretty good.

I honestly like the Crossfade Wireless more. A good choice if you haven't tried them already are the JBL Everest Elite 700 and the Sennheiser 4.40BT

Yeah I have...I really like bass and the Crossfade wireless I have now just doesn't deliver that deep punchy bass you get with heavy metal or rap. Just saw a Metallica concert Wednesday night so I'm looking for concert like bass, the V-MODA'S are lacking in that area. Now the Crossfades are awesome in clarity but the bass is just so so.

go with the Crusher Wireless. that gives you the bass sensation that you get from a concert. mids and highs are also very good on them as well

Pete Horn just got them on sale at BestBuy for like $150 off, but wasn’t impressed with the build quality. The plastic seems very light and and possibly fragile, which is what worries me. The wireless Skull Crushers on the hand seems to have a more solid build. Contemplating exchanging them for the cheaper Crushers.

Millekillen they are ok for $115, I personally think in that price range there are better options out there.

Belive me, in sweden they like to take big pays for headphones because yestetday i was at a store that took 150$ for them but luckily i found the store that sold them for 115$ only a hundred meters away from the other. I just bought them and i am surprised how good they are compared to other 115$ headphones

As well i dont agree that the bass mode takes over but that moght be because i like extreme bass music
