I have the same model as in your video. Unfortunately the TV won't turn on, no power lights or anything. I've tried soft and hard resets, unplugging for a day, different outlet, etc... Any advice on how to troubleshoot from here? No visibly damaged components on the main board or power board.
In my experience, there are only 2 circuit boards in the TV that can cause that fault. The power supply, and the mainboard. 99% of the time with this model we see defective mainboards. It is very rare to see the power supply fail. If you have a multimeter I would suggest doing some voltage checks to see if you have your standby voltage. If you do then most likely your power supply is good and the mainboard is the fault. If you don't have a multimeter available, you can always send in both boards to our repair facility and we can diagnose the boards for you and fix whichever one is defective. If you have any questions don't hesitate to reach out, we offer flat-rate repair services which always come with a 1-year warranty. @@NicksTVRepair Very helpful! I actually found someone giving away the same model TV as mine with a broken screen locally. I picked it up and swapped it's main board and power board into my unit. Next issue I ran into is the 6 red lights after a few seconds of powering on. I followed your "quick fix" tutorial for a similar unit and managed to bypass the BL ERR andddd..... Half of the display is black. Is it normal to have a unit with several failures at once? In my case a bad main board and an LED failure at the same time?
It's possible the power supply you put into it is bad. 6 blinks is usually a defective LED backlight but can also be due to the driver portion of the power supply. I would suggest putting your power supply back into your tv.
