I'm watching this video on my tv with sound coming from my surround system and the parts that have music are very loud and your voice is low. I am constantly turning volume down and up to hear what you are saying and trying not have the music blasting too loud.

I noticed that you used a filter for the Sony Phone, but not the iPhone. You think that added to the discrepancy? It’d be nice to have the same tests.

Why do Instagram stories on any Flagship Android look low quality as compared to the iPhone ? Here is the answer It's a good deep technical question… the answer is API In fact, image quality issue is not only observed on Instagram, but also on Facebook and Snapchat. These programs give API for Android as an OS , but they do not give an API for each Android device because of the large variety number of devices and their different operating interfaces. Meaning, Since there are so many different manufacturers for so many different Android devices, Instagram or snapchat aren't just going to be optimised for that huge variety number of devices, because they can't. And Optimising an app for Android OS is a thing, but optimising that app for the different skins and interfaces that Android devices manufacturers make (which means thousands of camera apps) is completely insane and impossible to achieve. But for the ios devices (IPhones) , it's only a one camera app, which makes it super easy for instagram or snapchat developers to optimise it for iphones. And giving more API to iOS because the devices that run on it are fewer (a lot fewer) . because the iphone is the only phone that run on the iOS system. and therefore the options are limited and easy to update, so the iphone get more easy attention from the apps like Instagram and Snapchat. It should be noted that the Instagram application appeared on iPhone devices two years before it appeared on Android devices. Note: API (Application Programming Interface) is a set of functions that allows applications to access data and interact with external software components, operating systems, or microservices. To simplify, an API delivers a user response to a system and sends the system's response back to a user.

A professional isn’t going to use a cellphone, I don’t know why people keep saying this. I can’t tell you any content creator with 500k+ followers who doesn’t use a full fledge DSLR/mirrorless camera. This phone can’t even compete with a Canon Rebel about a third of the price, who’s going to spend $1700 for lesser quality photos and videos? Someone said it best in the previous comment, this phone is for hobbyists and people who I called “spec sheet groupies”

Erm they said that about the Mk1,2,3,4,……I’m a professional photographer and I bought into this for that reason you gave….sorry the Sony has never taken better photos than the two leading brands on time of release, I have owned two Xperia phones and Sonys updates have never caught the leaders on cameras, I had two Xperia phones and I still use one to this day….the thing I look at now is will the Xperia 5 be better than the Samsung S24ultra this year a direct comparison this years Xperia vs this years iphone and Samsung’s? Answer based on cameras and video only then no I don’t think Sony will be in the leading pack

​@@FIxt00lbut DSLR night photos can be rubbish without lightroom whereas the iPhone has built in lightroom that automatically sparkles a night shot DSLR video is also rubbish until it's been through editing software. Plus I'd rather use Go-Pro 😉

The video comparison looked a little jittery when using the Xperia, I find Xperias have the best video recording capabilities because we are able to control the shutter speed. Was the video shot in basic mode?

you ain't seen the Vivo X90 Pro + then nor the Oppo Find X6. This whole video is pro SOny - even when the visuals clearly show the Apple is better in some situations - plus the audio on the Sony sounded awful.

how short is short, like 3 minutes? I've been wanting to replace my iPhone 12 because it overheats in like 5 minutes of continuous video recording in max settings.

@@alexbuceavideo because my phone overheats while using the camera after a few minutes....also I really think (maybe they will) they should put software features from 1 V to 1 IV and not keep them exclusive to 1 V. Also they they should give longer updates...especially because they release their phones with Android N, while android n+1 is already out or just around the corner...
