Thank you very much for the video! With the help of this video, I was able to replace the microphone, even though I have no technical training whatsoever. I'm so glad I was able to save my dear old phone. ❤❤❤
Phone screens use double sided adhesive as weakens with heat, how do you remove screens using this glue if its heat resistant & what's the curing time?
That double sided sticky gasket you used a hot air gun to remove is water tight , that's why phone manufacturers use it. I've fixed enough phones to know that's fact
I replaced my screen, and now my microphone won't work... What the hell did I do? edit : I took my phone back apart and the mics seem to work better when I have the screen popped out, but as soon as I put it back in, the mic isn't picking ANYTHING up again. Guess I'll be stuck with handsfree from now on
@@SBRepair Bro I have had a problem with my XZ2 Compact for months now, both microphones are not working at all, at first I noticed that whatsapp and telegram audios were recorded very low, the problem continued to persist until I literally can no longer send audios.... The only thing I can do is to talk only with the speaker on when I make calls.... searching in forums I realized that the XZ2 Compact had a similar problem in one of microphone when updated to android 10 but Sony solved it with a patch ... what I kept asking me why my microphones still do not work ... I came to the conclusion that the cause may be that the holes are clogged with dirt.... I ask you the question, is it necessary to disassemble my phone just to clean it? I have tried to do my best by myself but it is impossible to clean those holes are too deep and too narrow 😩😩😩😩😩.
