Thanks, it took me more than five hours to go through your video as I was trying to learn and do the same with my camera. Of course it overheated during that time, but it gave me a break. Also I learned that you can slightly cool the camera by having the screen turned to the side of the camera
I'm a complete novice and just purchased one. Does it have to have a separate lens to function? It didn't come with a separate lens and I cannot get a picture on the screen.
No, you would need to format the card or delete the video file off the card while it's in the camera. If you put the card back in you can see how much record time you have left if you look on the top right of the LCD screen next to the battery level icon. If you don't see that stuff press the display button on the back of the camera to cycle thru the various screen options.
I dont seem to be able to find the customize FN button. Can we customize the FN button? I want to change it to focus and deactivate the half press shutter focus.
You can't custom program the Fn button as that provides access into the function menu. You can only customize the buttons that light up when in the customization area.
@@LonerJoe give it a try, but I'm not sure if that will work 100%... You have different custom options for both photo and video as well, so keep that in mind...
I just got my camera yesterday from Amazon but I noticed mine did not come with the lens cap or a wire for charging, the scene settings to shoot are not there & also my screen does not spin all the way like yours does in the video just a 180 and then it locks. I trust Amazon but I’m not sure if I got jibbed on a knockoff camera for $1,100 lol
@@Jason_Hermann It turned out that straight from the box the battery was almost completely discharged and therefore mapping was not possible. It happened automatically as soon as I fully charged the battery.
Mate, well done. But toooo much. I tried just to set up my camera and this was not possible with this video :) Still thx for your work, but 10 Minutes best movie setup would rock it .)
Mate this video was 10/10! Super helpful and detailed 👌🏾 answered so many questions I had. Yeah the video was long but would rather that then a short video that only explains 1/22th of the camera..
Interesting? What kind of SD card is it exactly? Perhaps try formatting it in another camera and then try it? Or get another card as that one may be bad. If all else fails there may be an issue with the camera...
