Why would you shoot someone in the face for an alleged fear of a "water threat?" Why even pull out a gun? Taser? Pepper spray? He is a DEMON!

When I saw all the cops standing outside, starring at him and speechless, it was pretty evident they thought he was guilty.

Sonya saw that evil spirit and it wanted to silence her. "I rebuke you in the name of Jesus."

When that murdering ex cop gets to see all the video evidence against him, his quote calling that defenseless poor woman a "crazy b*tch" will come back to haunt him BIG TIME !!

Oh my goodness. All she said was she rebuked him in the name of Jesus and he immediately became hostile. I saw no aggression in that woman. No doubt, Sonya Massey deserves justice!

Actions to avoid while black: Dialing 911 for help, retrieving a pot of water, having a fight-or-flight response and running away from a perceived threat, be a therapist helping your autistic client in the street, reaching for your wallet after being ASKED for your DLs, sit on your couch in your home while eating ice cream, standing in front of a house, sleeping close to the door, sleeping in a car, Jogging, laughing, wearing natural hairstyles, reading a book while waiting for kids to get out of school, jaywalking, allowing A vehicle to break down, riding an ATV on the street, changing a tire, buying skittles or iced tea, playing music, moving hands too fast, or to slow, asking for directions, walking downstairs, carrying a toy gun, play with a toy gun in an empty park, grabbing, holding or looking at toy gun inside a store, carrying a plastic sword or concealed weapon (regardless of permit), running, walking while listening to music, talking (if you have a naturally loud voice), reaching for a license even if is asked, smirking, frowning, selling loose cigarettes, not having work badge visible, smoking in your car, complaining about being profiled, or suggest we have a problem and if you awaken with a loud 'boom' allowing your reflex to move your body, and other known behaviors that has reulted in DEATH for black people, particular by tax paid "Peace Officers."

Executing an unarmed woman who had mental health issues was barbaric behavior!

He shot her 3 times!!! With backup there!!! Some fools say that she threatened him w/ a pot of boiling water that he had no business asking her to get off the stove! She did what he told her to do and whose to say how hot that water was?!? You can tell she was not mentally well! And kept talking about this woman after he killed her!! He need the electric chair or a needle in his arm!!! He killed her !! This is so truly disturbing and sickening! And her family had to clean her blood up, no matter the amount of money this family will get this should always stick out like a sore thumb. Sonya Massey's mental health is not the issue, here. Why are they blowing it up? It is the excuse the cop needs try to reduce his sentence. EVERYTHING Sonya did can be explained by trying to comply with the instructions she was given or that were being yelled at her. Throwing the pot never crossed Sonya's mind. She didn't understand what they meant by "getting away from your hot steaming pot". So, she gave a common, friendly joking reply (not some episodic mumbo jumbo). Her mental health is totally irrelevant to the facts of the shooting. It was the cop who unaccountably flipped, not Sonya.

He should be fired as well for not standing up & doing what is right . He actually said No , she’s DONE He was nasty from the very beginning, before he even entered her home… asking her why it took so long for her to answer the door… entering her home and asking her for ID.. the nerve of him. I keep thinking this won’t happen but the truth of the matter… it is happening & can happen to any one of us.

I saw the video of the night the Sheriff's dept showed up at Ms. Massey's home and just became sick. This brought waves of sadness, anger, bewilderment, etc. This lady lost her life in such a wretched manner. There was no reason for this to have happened.

He murdered a fearful & possibly fragile woman in her housecoat inside her home. I am so deeply sad for Sonia Massey's family. Deepest condolences. We see what that murderer did.

I pray to God that justice is serve for Mrs Massey🙏🏽 tomorrow marks 9 years since my late husband got murdered by a police officer and even with all evidence and video showing the officer in wrong and shooting my late husband in the back 7 times, he walked away free😢😢😢 the system is all messed up and they will do anything and contingents lengths to cover their selves and their department up! This officer has no remorse for what he did to Mrs Massey as well as the officer who took my late husbands life. The sheriff of that department needs to be charged to... I blame to sheriff of that department for that.... If you had a competent sheriff this would have never happened, and then the sheriff's department lied about it... The deputy and sheriff need to be prosecuted.....

The simple fact that she wasn’t even talking to the shooter. The other officer backed away as she’s removing the pot, she asked him why did he walk away, he laughed and said he was walking away from her boiling water, she either took it as an offense as if he was scared that she was going to throw it at them, or she was just joking by telling him “ I rebuke you in the name of Jesus” that arrogant guy with no self control decided to take it upon himself to kill that lady, thinking that he would get away with it. Saddest thing is, he had no remorse. If he didn’t mean it, he would have been freaking out and screaming that she accidentally shot the lady because he was afraid that she was going to throw hot water on him. Why couldn’t he just stop when she said she was sorry. He could have just said, okay mammm, I want you to just walk away from the stove with your hands up. Nope! He was so aggressive and ignorant and approached her as she was trying to hide from him behind the counter. That evil criminal needs to go to jail.

I said from the first time I saw this video that he flat up executed her. I showed my dad, his exact words were, "that man assasinated that poor woman". I think it's clear to anyone that watches the body cam that this was nothing short of an execution. Sonya saw something evil in that man, she knew. My prayers are with her family, I can't even imagine what they are going through. I also hope he gets life in prison where he gets to reflect every day on what he did hopefully getting prison justice every day he's in there.

I thank God the other officer had his video camera on. This could have been just another black casualty where the family would not have gotten any justice for murder from a police officer.

The real question is, why did they go into her home in the first place.?

That was one sick cop! And it was pre-meditated because he said before he shot her, "I will shoot you in the fucking face".. so he has to mentally prepare a target of her head before hand and was waiting to shoot her!!! And he did just that. The way he spoke to her showed his hate. He did not care. He was waiting to kill someone. She was absolutely...zero threat to him! Notice the other arriving officers were real quiet! They already know he he was .....and knew it was bad. But he was allowed to stay on the force and murder someone!

She was shot while on the floor= clearly unjustified and even if she was gonna throw that water on him that is not a deadly weapon as a knife or gun. He told her to move it. I saw her let go of the pot and drop to the floor that's when he murdered her. She was not going to throw that on him. Mr. Crump, Sonya is not example #1, she is another amongst too many examples! There was no reason that hired assassin needed to enter her home. From the start, he was banging on the door telling her to hurry up and answer. He was never in fear that someone was going to either hurt themselves, get hurt by the alleged intruder, or hurt them. She was on the phone with what I'm assuming was the emergency service she had called. I heard her clearly state her name as Massey. It then continues with hostility when asking for ID. Why? Just have her spell her name, if the gun carrying, steroid pumped, murderer in uniform couldn't understand English. From the door, couch, stove, she was a dead woman walking and the demon enjoyed it. That officer was not in immediate danger from that boiling water from where he was standing. He could have easily backed up further and used verbal de-esculation. I am very sorry for the family's loss. This could have been prevented!!

The Cops had a simple no problem here and leave case instead they kept asking her Question upon Question looking for a reason to put an innocent Black Woman in Jail that Police Department is an absolute disgrace.

Her call is about a suspected prowler outside her house. There's no need for these officers to enter her house and escalate things. Just tell her there's nothing to be afraid of as soon as they finish checking outside her house.

The other police departments need to be sued also for allowing him to be transferred from one police station another!! 😢

That other officer needs to be arrested as well! If it was 2 black or brown boys that went into her home and done that, BOTH would be convicted. No one told the truth so they’re both GUILTY

Her 4 yr old cousin was also un-alived by police in March. The day after the body cam footage from this woman’s event was released …it was also quietly announced that the officer responsible for the dispatching of the 4 yr old cousin would NOT even be charged. They’re using this event to cover up another.

Its sad, that we have to fight for justice when its so noticeable.
