@@coolerheadsprevail9312That’s 8 grams out of the 24 gram daily recommended limit for women. People going crazy with that amount of sugar with the low amount of coffee but it’s being mixed in with the oat milk.
@@jgunner94using oat milk negates the quality of everything else though. People can claim they like the taste more yada yada but even if that’s true it still negatively impacts the coffee’s taste.
@@queenelizabethiisleftshoe6240 I know, but the whipping and the syrup. Well I may found it too sweet due to I use to drink coffee natural, just coffee
Honestly tho it’s just a tbs plus it’s brown sugar, the whipping doesn’t do anything to the sweetness and you can find the same syrup sugar free🤷🏻♀️ honestly it’s on the healthier side compared to other drinks imo
I used to drink like this almost everyday, if not, at least 2-3x a week, until….I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. No more sugar-induced coffee drinks for me, I drink black coffee now. 😅
Ah, my great grandmother was diabetic and still drank at least one Coke every day. She lived until the age of 85 or so. Sometimes you just gotta enjoy yourself in spite of certain things.
If you lock the espresso handle into the group head, and don't press the extraction button straight away, the coffee will burn. The powder is sitting under extreme heat, but no water is coming through. Always press the extraction button as soon as the handle is locked in. That's what I was taught as a barista anyways 😌
Depends on the machine, this one is a thermoblock machine. Most thermoblock machine doesn’t heat the grouphead when idle.. and people usually have to do blank shots to warm up the portafilter. So in this case, its fine.. the coffee doesn’t get heated while locked in the grouphead. If you are using boiler machine then yes, the coffee ground gets heated as you wait
And way too much heavy cream! That’s how some people get really obese and wonder why they can’t lose weight. Carbs = 4 calories/gram Protein = 4 calories/gram *FATS = 9 CALORIES/GRAM* 😵💫
the cream is fine.. the amount of oatmilk is alot more calories than the cream. Also fat doesnt make you obese, its the sugar that will do that.@@BuiltInBrooklyn
@@Bubby91 No it’s not fine and oat milk isn’t as calorie dense as cream, she used a lot of cream! Fat in itself doesn’t make you obese, but it’s more calorie dense that carbs and protein (9 calories/gram vs 4/gram for carbs and protein) so people end up consuming a lot of calories from fat without realizing it, and unlike carbs most dietary fat gets stored as fat in the body, unless your body is fat adapted (look that up). Yes sugar/highly processed carbs are really bad for you if you don’t watch your intake and especially if you don’t move around enough. Also, the combination of high fat high sugar foods is one of the worst things you can do to your body. Not only does that cause weight gain but that combination also increases appetite and cravings which can lead to obesity in the not so long term!
@@Lylah-bo9vpwho tf would be obsessed with Americans? They are the most disliked nationality in the world! The only people wanting to move to America is desperate ppl wanting a green card. The rest of the world look down on Americans as a nationality and roll their eyes. If you don’t believe that’s true you’ve never travelled. It’s a well known fact.
Well that’s not the “normal” coffee you’re probably used to, it’s espresso, so you’re supposed to have a larger ratio of milk and stuff when you’re making a latte/cappuccino/etc
@@Shalyn-ln9tu dude espresso IS coffee. Why even be pretentious about it? I'm sure you mean "huge difference" between maybe drip coffee and espresso but the way you phrased it just sounds silly. Besides, I think they were joking and meant that the person in the video "hates" the taste of coffee so much they need to so many flavorings for it to be palatable. I'd have to agree to an extent. The saving factor in this IS that espresso makes most of these gross basic sweet drinks taste okay... just overly sweet.
@@gagamaus no one in this thread is joking. They think drinking drip coffee black is superior. I think putting too much sugar ruins the drink, but who cares? This isn't an everyday drink. Drip and espresso are processed completely differently. It's been a real thing where people even make it political because of the milk they choose. Sorry that we use alternative milk, because otherwise, we had internal pain from lactose. I love the OP comment, it's silly and fun, but people take it too seriously and know nothing of the different ways of coffee
@@leonore3349 the petroleum-like part was just a joke, if you add coffee according to your taste it turns out really great. I've been using an IKEA french press in my dorm for 2 years
When I see videos like this I begin to wonder about times when people lived in caves and whether they drinked coofee or did they had any idea how many objects were involved to prepare that perfect cup of coofee
actually closer to 160. thats two teaspoons of sugar which is 32 and one cup of oat milk is 120, although you can use almond milk for only 30 cals if it's a big deal 🫣 and then for the foam, there would be a decent amount but she only uses a couple spoonfuls of it, so it doesn't add a whole lot. i have basically this drink every day minus the foam topping and i have yet to get diabetes or get fat ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Me too! My endocrinologist told me to quit all sugar, well Im not a sugar person like adding sugar at coffe but recommend to me change cow milk for coconut milk BUT not that sells in package, she wants me to prepare my own handmade coconut milk (its easy but im lazy), still changing habits of eatings, using coco-ghee oil and probably the most important, sleep 9pm and woke up aerly is the best for your healt, I quit some kgs in this 2 months but still drinking a good latte like 2 per week.
