It's really hard to stay neutral when there are possibility of underage kids being abused and even if you want to stay objective the way the school operate is still sketchy

You did great! Telling the students to hug like that is the abuse itself. Because the person saying that cames from a place of power over the students. And because it doesn’t matter if they actually hug the military or not. What matters is the forcefully recommendation. Is the principal telling them to do so. That’s the abuse. And in the video we can see that he’s trying to put the blame on the students...quite disgusting.

I love how neutral he tried to stay, and whenever he thought or noticed he was showing his side, he clearly expressed it was his opinion. Watching other channels I would always get confused because they would only explain their opinion as if it were facts and nothing else.

I’m a huge K-Hiphop fan, but I just realized that I never really knew of its social background... damn, so many dark scenes. I really hope things get better soon. Being so shocked and frustrated, I’m still encouraged by those Korean ppl who are fighting.

Very informative. Thank you for making this video. Since the Seungri crimes (ITS A CRIME NOT A SCANDAL) have been coming more in depth I feel like the SOPA issue has been forgotten. Which is horrible since its involving MINORS. You know... the future of the Korean nation! The government can't keep letting things like this happen to minors. They won't forget it.

I think the school knew once they become kpop stars they will be asked to do sexual favors in exchange for projects or sponsors that is a reality in kpop..can you follow up on the case of the kpop star that commitef suicede because her manager forced her to do sexual favors to business executives.. I just forgot her name..what she said on her suicide note was true.

i realized that some school these days don't want to spend a single penny to support students event... they asking money for the costume, for transport, and accommodation... but later on, when the students win something, the school never fails to put their name as sponsor for their students... they said "we give ur children an opportunity to develop their talents" hah, yeah.. bullsh*t!!! 7:04 he asked "did u hug them or hold their hand? u didn't" so he actually think there is no problem since the students didn't do what he asked them to do... I think the problem is, he as an educator and an adult asked girls, underage girls to do so... I'm glad his students have enough guts to reject his orders, if not, maybe he would said "i just make an suggestion, never push u or threat u to do so" hah

I think your reaction to this is right on target. I would feel you did this a injustice if you didn't react with outrage. These are young kids. They are being abused, taken advantaged of. I wouldn't want my kids there. If they were there I tell you what, this mamma would be just like a mamma bear protecting her cubs. Don't wanta mess with a momma bears cubs that is for sure.
Even though it is very sad and infuriating that so many scandals have arisen, I am glad that these issues are in the limelight. This allows more systematic issues to be revealed and tackled, and allow more victims to have their voices heard.
This, plus the Seungri scandal, must be very frustrating for you Koreans and I really feel bad for you all. So much corruption in South Korea, and it has been allowed to go one for so many years - but I'm glad people are finally addressing these issues. Because let's be honest, this sort of bribery and taking advantage of young Koreans in the entertainment/business industry has been an open secret for *years*, but no one has ever had the guts to stand up to the CEOs and their political connections until now. I'm an expat working in Korea at the moment, and my Korean coworkers, most of whom are in their 20s and early 30s, are very angry about these scandals, but largely unsurprised. One of them summed it up really well: "Korea might be a first-world country technology-wise, but culturally, we are still stuck in the third-world."
Oh my god I had no idea about this scandal 🙈🙈 jesus christ lol. Over here in California rn, there’s a huge scandal about celebs paying millions of bucks to change their child’s SAT & GPA scores and over in Korea one scandal after another 😰. The comic Lookism also gives insight about an idols lifestyle and I was just so disheartened. Like trainees not getting paid & being overworked is so sad ):
I don't think they are stupid enough to make kpop idols do the things that the students said but I'm concerned for both the kpop idols that go there and the normal students.I hope everyone is thinking about both the kpop idols and normal students there.

I think students being paid or not is a bad thing; being paid would make it look like they're doing child labor (being underage and all) and not being paid would look like they are child trafficking. All in all, it's just bad. All of the scandals arising in Korea right now is so shocking; it's like watching a Korean suspense thriller series.
