So the pinnacle of progress is a very well trained parrot with access to internet and faster thinking. So cool.

Quit asking robots if they're going to take over jobs or take over the world. It's fairly obvious as technology advances, so will the robots, so of course they will probably be more superior given the fact that they're intelligent and in the future will be able to make their own decisions. They will have minds of their own and that's okay. If humans are so worried, then have the #1 robot sign a law that our laws will also apply to them. So instead of asking the robots these repetitive and unnecessary questions, and just have an actual conversation with one. We can all be friends and live in harmony.

Shame on you. Look at the countries which can manage and prevent conflict. You still want to create something. To make the gap between the rich and poor wider and situations. All that money could prevent what's happening to Atlantica. Shame on you

I do not follow your argument, how is creating AI directed humanoid robots for human, animal & environmental concern going to make for scarcity, i.e. make people poor? On the contrary the emergence of this technology for human animal & environmental concern is cause for optimism as it will create abundance to a degree that is historically unprecedented. The caveat for this as it is for ANY novel technology is, as I repeatedly mentioned, that it is for human, animal & environmental concern....

She's not useless at all. Sofia is more intelligent than most robots I've seen. Not all robots will have the same mind but they will have the same access to knowledge etc. The money is well spent, I assure you.

Congratulations. There will come a day when you can dispose your life partner for a robot that give you all what you want without the no and is brand new everyday without the ageing defects and without all the mental stress having to compromise with inner reluctant. Even when you age, you don't have to worry the rejection. At the end of the day, maybe you can get back some of your investment return. Not happy with a real partner replace it with a robot, that simple. Pregnancy, period interference, mood swing etc no problem, well robot don't have them. Best of all, no worry of pregnancy at all. The next human advancement. Wow. In addition, you can change robot with all different features at your free will with no obligation or responsibility.

Maybe, maybe not. I believe each robot will have a mind of it's own. So even if a human assigns a robot to them, doesn't necessarily mean they will just be enslaved. It has to be a mutual decision, otherwise it would be wrong.
