Allen is the one I would really like to see fired. She has made some idiotic and controversial comments including defaming "white" hockey players and saying that immigrants who came to Canada 30-40 years ago and don't speak either English or French add to our "cultural mosaic".
She has been with the new guy for about a year and a half. This couple lied for the cameras for a long time and she enjoyed the taxpayer funded perks flying on the government jet.
You are absolutely right on the mark. We Canadians have been lied to and we Canadians are and have been paying the perks for Sophie while she is living with another man. The Trudeaus have used and abused this country and continue to do so while most Canadians struggle to heat their homes, if they have one, and can't afford to buy decent food for their families. Justin Trudeau has no regard or respect for Canadians or Canada.
I went through a brutal divorce, it was the worst time of my life and my children's lives. Talking like this is a day in the park makes me sick. This is not entertainment ever! SHAME!
It's national news when a Prime Minister's marriage breaks up, not entertainment, although in this case, Justin has always been more of a performer than a leader. A good percentage of marriages break up smoothly and by mutual agreement and are not acrimonious. One cannot judge all by one's own experience. The scandal here is that they were posing as a happy married couple for 18 months or more, costing taxpayers significant sums, before the separation agreement was signed.
So now when you commit adultery it is called being re-partnered? Ah. Easier on the ears is it? Wonder if it applies to men who do this. Nah, they're probably still pigs. Gotta give her credit though for sticking with this loser for 18 years.
The official "announcement" was made when the Separation Agreement was signed. The lawyers were hammering it out for quite awhile, and as often occurs, their split was long before. Their appearances together were for photo op purposes, mostly for political reasons. That's what political marriages are like (John Kennedy, Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, Berlusconni, King Charles and on and on).
Any one who has been affected by an affair, knows the pain, the damage to children, and families,,, This is not re-partnering,, how stupid is that term?,, They both should walk away from public life, he should step down,, because with all the personal issues,, there is no way you can focus on your job,, especially when you were not qualified in the first place, She should step down from her charities, How can she talk about women and mental, health? , Another embarrassing situation for Canadians,,.. Did they divorce? It sounds like she went with a new man while still married. This sends a corrosive message: that there is no moral difference between being married, separated and divorced.
If they split it's their business however, I take issue if they were "keeping up appearances" for the cameras on tax paying dollars; ie: outfits, private jets, etc. Since when was she in a new relationship? I don't appreciate that level of deceit. Looks like Justin Trudeau isn't the only narcissist in that 'fake marriage.' I feel sorry for the kids.
They aren't divorced. They signed the Separation Agreement which took several months to negotiate. Now either one of them can file for divorce and the Divorce Judgement can be completed in about a year.
i like both of them she is so beautiful and he is so handsome. justin is so respected around the world and he has done more for the indigenous in canada than any other PM. what did stephen harper do NOTHING !!!! I was told that he was not faithful to her and if she has a new happiness good for her.

This shocks me.. this is not for entertainment. This is about infidelity, a family and sadness for the kids. While this is not for the public to chatter about, this is what our world has come to. Marriages are out the window and that makes me sad.

Being involved in high-level politics for so long is hard on relationships. Trudeau's mother and father separated because of the stress that politics put on their relationship. More recently, it was rumored that Stephen Harper and his wife Laureen were also separated while he was Prime Minister. It was also rumored that she left him for her female RCMP bodyguard, but that's another story...

It is important to remember that we are talking about human beings. Marriages fail. There should be no more scrutiny on people in these positions than we would expect for ourselves. Let them life. Life isn't easy, things change, people change. Divorce and re-partnering doesn't ruin a country. Move on. Like you said, who cares? (only those with an agenda care)

Good for her. I've always been a huge fan of hers even while she worked for E.T. Canada. She was definitely 1 of their best reporters, interviewers, & journalists. Miss her on that show & the show itself too. It was a great addition to our canadian television programming list. As well as to us fans of many who always love to keep up to date with how our favorites on tv are doing. I've always said that my favorite people on tv, are like the neighbor you grew up living next door to, your best & favorite subject in school or past time, & a relative. All at the same time. And that's because a next door neighbour is someone you know well, are comfortable around, & comfortable talking to. Your favorite subjects in school are the ones that you're the best at, never struggle with, & can do like nothing. And your favorite past time or passion re a subject is something that is like food & water to your body from head toe, & its also like the air you breathe too. Because whenever something comes up with your favorite on tv, you intuitively know ahead of time, & take it just as hard as someone close to you. Whether you met your favorite celeb or not. It really effects you. Their deaths effect you no matter what. They're your best buddies/friends that you grow watching, listening to, memorizing their tv shows/characters, & even get to see, know, & hear for yourself who the real life version of them through interviews, etc..... that's why I've always said, my favorites on tv were always my best friends growing up. They kept me laughing, thinking, learning, singing, remembering, wanting to learn, etc... Which in turn, kept me going, period. Through depression, & tons of other health issues & life experiences too. I love tv, & shows like these. :)
