We love travelling around the UK to capture the special days of our couples, and every year we find ourselves in the Surrey/Kent corner of the country capturing some of the most beautiful weddings, and Sophie and Jonny’s wedding day did not disappoint!
We started the day surrounded by puppies, we were in heaven. With a nice and chilled out morning spent capturing moments in Sophie and Jonny’s family homes, it was soon time for the ceremony. Arriving in style, there was not a dry eye in the house when Sophie walked down the aisle to meet her soon-to-be husband, Jonny, with their puppy watching from the aisle.
Towards the end of the ceremony, whilst the vicar was speaking about Sophie’s mother, a beautiful butterfly flew silently through the church, fluttering around Sophie twice before flying away. It was a truly special and unbelievable moment which we are so thankful for capturing on film.
Leaving the idyllic ceremony behind, Sophie and Jonny made their way to a field not too far away from their new house, to celebrate the rest of the day with their loved ones. With help from their community of family and friends, Sophie and Jonny brought together a perfect venue decorated with flowers, hay bales, campfires, string lights, and a custom wooden swing handmade by Jonny as a gift for Sophie.
After some absolutely delicious food, alongside the wonderfully talented @whilewe.wander , we took Sophie & Jonny on a journey up the hill to capture the final moments of the sunset, before ending the day dancing away to the sounds of @gentlemenoffew.
