Wynter Wonderland semi-colons (;) are used when the sentence after continues the idea. A period ends the idea to start another one. So the poet is saying that they want their story to continue growing off of what they’ve already lived through instead of seeming like starting over

I WILL NEVER STOP SCREAMING ABOUT HOW PROUD I AM OF THESE TEEN GIRLS TODAY WHO DONT JUST SIT DOWN BUT STAND UP AND DEMAND TO BE HEARD. When i was 17 if I stood up I would be knocked right back down. Fists and words. I'm 25 now and just beginning to find my own voice. I'm behind you. I adore you. Thank you. This made my soul soar.

because we live in a society that thinks teaching teenagers about "la belle dame sans merci" is better than teaching them shit with meaning. shit that could save lives. shit that could be the reason that a woman stands up for herself and demands she is heard. shit that makes the boys in ur class finally realize that no. women are not inferior and they must stop treating them as though they were

I'm 12 I'm type 1 diabetic and I have anxiety I have problems expressing my feelings so I bottled up all my sadness and when it spills out I call my a burden and week and I close the bottle as much as I can just so that no one knows because expressing the emotions you don't know why you have is gonna be harder in front of people just cry it out alone then close the bottle again

Life at twelve sounds nice. But my innocence was robbed far too early and I was left with barely my life in a hospital room on my 12th birthday. I've never been so thankful to fail anything as I am thankful I failed my suicide attempt.

In my ELA/ reading class everyone got to play one song or video and I played this, my teacher was so happy that I knew what this was (no one knew, I was sad) she said she was happy that I watched and listened to such meaningful things (everyone played songs about drugs, sex, murder. Ya know all that)
