How is Sophie getting less and less attractive wrt her looks and behaviour as the series progresses? If it was done on purpuse -- it is very well executed by the writers and the actress.

@@DavidZ4-gg3dmamazingly well executed! I used to think I was the only one noticing it. Then 2 friends of mine who watched the show later, independently said something like "Sophie is getting ugly, have you noticed?". Most likely they formulated it quite a bit softer, I am just transmitting the essence in a concise manner.

I think with her looks they naturally declined anyway so they didn't have to do much to make her look progressively worse. Most women age like milk
