Mark and Super Hans being friends makes a lot of sense, since the writers have said that Han is meant as a more extreme version of Jez. The Jez who commits to his impulses. And since Johnson is a similar more extreme version of Mark, there's a wonderful friendship that never was between Johnson and Super Hans. Oh the adventures they could've had.
Fun fact; the UK banned yards of alcohol many years ago to protect people against alcoholism but in reality it just ended up making life just that slight bit less interesting. I don’t really find it funny but honestly it’s a good example of how victims, especially men, can be in denial about these things. Men can be so blase about being sexually assaulted or harassed. I’ve seen the denial first hand.
