I know what you're thinking, how could i possibly believe that an inferior race like humanity actually has a chance?
No i wasnt thinking that at all
The answer is simple really, if you wanna know the truth, i dont believe in humanity. Humans are lonely and stupid cretures, every last one of them, including me! Doesn't matter what planet they're from, this one or my old one, not a damn thing's changed a bit. however i believe in humanities potential! you know, back in our own world, humans can fly through the sky and even travel amongst the stars.
Sorry but that's kinda hard to believe
ya, no kidding, even humanity itself doubted any of that was possible but someone eventually pulled it off the real deal pulled it off!

Sora (空そら, Sora) is the main male protagonist and overall main protagonist of No Game No Life and the cunning and manipulative half of the siblings. Abandoned by his parents, Sora is a NEET gamer along with his step-sister, Shiro, with whom he forms 『　　』 , or Blank. He has a lackadaisical hate towards life and is pretty much dedicated only to gaming.

@@satan4942 It was dropped after an apology and the light novel did continue but the studio behind the anime dropped all preparations for season 2 due to the controversy.

@@dark_regent2151 fun fact my friend, a new light novel volume for ngnl is out at the end of this month and theyre also having an announcement, what the announcement will be i do not know but considering they was rebroadcasting season 1 not too long ago this might possibly be what we was waiting for and a season 2 is possible. Wont be getting my hopes up here but yeah, there is a chance here.

If life is a game. What the goal of the game is it to win? Is it to have fun? No it's a game it's to enjoy, in a game everyone should win one way or another either from actually coming out on top or simply having everyone enjoy the match. Tldr life could be a game where everyone can be enjoy.

The people commenting that "Sora would be disappointed in the humanity cause they didn't make season 2" didn't get the whole point of his speech Cause the part where he said "but someone eventually pulled it off , the real deal pulled it off" means about all of humanity not just some animation studio so there could be a guy in future who might go- "fck this , I will make it myself" and is able to animate the whole thing by himself and Considering JoJo community for example whose some fans have already animated some minor bits of manga who are yet to be animated showing that they can pull it off if given time and support I know they just made a joke but I just explaining what came to my mind while reading the comments or might have just overthink a bit 😂 But well whatever *"IT is What it is"*

You know me personally I very much relate to Sora in this context. after all if you really think about it humans haven't been around that long, only a couple hundred thousand years. but look what we've done we've created, machines that can make us go faster than any land animal, we can swim faster than any fish, fly higher than any bird, even though we have no wings, no flippers, and no paws. if there's something I've always been fascinated about ever since I was a kid it was definitely humans, and what we could do even though we should be near the bottom of the food chain we're at the absolute top it makes no sense at all. so how far can we take it how much can we push it. I've always wanted to know and I still do I know it's impossible for me to actually know because I won't live that long, but it's still interesting because we've gone all the way to the Moon which isn't even a place with oxygen, where were incapable of surviving yet we lived and came back to tell the tale. where will we be in a couple thousand years, or maybe even a couple million, what would we built, how would society shape itself and work, how we humans think. if I had anything that I absolutely believe in it is US because humanity wins, humans are winners, and I want to know how many times we can win and how far we can push it. it's a foolish silly childish concept, but I don't care. No game No Life is actually my comfort anime, because when I'm feeling down it's Sora that always picks me up, especially when it comes to this speech, because I understand him and it makes sense it's strange because I never really have any goals, I don't really want to do anything but the one thing I actually want to do is impossible, that I will never be able to. but I don't mind because that makes me special it makes me important and a Sora would say if makes me the real deal.

I feel like there is a miss, it isn't a single person that is responsible for great thinks, it's more complex then that. It's humanity as a whole. very few if any people made discoveries on their own. It's a group effort, but he has a point, here's an example we had rocket propulsion plans dating as back as 1500 (Conrad Haas), we had literature to push forward the desire to land on the moon (Jules Verne). The landing itself is the tip of a giant iceberg hundred of years old and that took the lives, time and sanity of hundreds and thousands on nameless people. Humanity's potential lies in it's imagination, curiosity and perseverance, in the absurdity of abandoning ones wellbeing and safety to explore dangerous places and in the ability to inherit, continue and pass on the sands of knowledge we discover. Fun fact sometimes giving up is moving forward. For over 1000 year, math geeks from around the world struggled with a single line, Euclid's 5th postulate and never solved, instead they abandoned the idea of proving it and discovered new math. Same goes for Einstein, instead of trying to confirm or deny the speed of light limit, he wondered how it impacts physics. Hope someone reads this

I guess the same goes for me in some sense. I want to read manga and watch anime series that will not exist in my lifetime. But I know that's impossible. No one can live forever. I hate life, but the reason why I'm still willing to go on living is bc I'm always wondering what's gonna happen in the story
