Sora is Here! Is Frightfur Fluffals Top Tier!? Or Missing Too Much? [Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links]

Just wanted to shout out Dkayed, Gia, the mods, and everyone that keeps the DMC community the absolute BEST! 4 years ago I was a penniless virgin but 46 months ago I subbed on Twitch, joined the discord, hit that notification bell and now I am cashing checks and smashing cheeks. HAJIME!!!

If you look at Dkayed's ARC-V world video before its release, Dkayed have said Fluffals are trash but does not realise how good its actually is but now he does

I want to see a Hero video. I like how you added the win streak ender to show how the deck loses, even tho it was just cause it went first and bricked. It makes it feel less like a highlight reel and more like a showcase of the highs and lows of a deck.

When Sora goes second, he marches into the shadow realm with DOOM music playing.

I think it's at least KOG worthy and I'm gonna try to build it because it seems fresh to the meta.

Sora is the most character who got a very good starting pack from the very beginning. His level up rewards following by the newest box released make him so fun.

A shame that Fluffals don't have an interruption card like the Edge Imp Scythe and Cruel Whale pop, would've really gave it some teeth.

Fluffal Owl is actually just a one/two of in a TCG/OCG list Fluffal, because it's searchable. It's the weakest good Fluffal, but in DL format it's actually not bad. What the deck needs is Edge Imp Scythe and Fluffal Dolphin to enable Bahamut Shark/Abyss Dweller plays. For the Extra Deck, it really needs Frightfur Cruel Whale.

If you can go second this deck slaps! It’s like Cydra but now the Rampage is 2 guys, and instead of a control Trap you get to draw 3 off wings.

King of the swamp kiteroid and necro fusion are some good non arquetype cards to put in, but still not the most meta defining deck. Very fun to play tho

Been using Keeper of Dragon Magic and Fusion Conscription to try to beef up the fluffs. Keepers been going great but if you dont have a poly, bear or owl in hand conscription can backfire easily.

Frightfur is Death Toy in Japanese. I guess they could have made it Des Toy but Frightfur is fine. Apparently fluffal was ファーニマル which is basically Furnimal. At least it isn’t as bad in English. I actually quite like the names. Edge Imp stayed the same.

I'd really like if you could check out the new ancient gear cards, their fusions give them more options and make them a bit more fun

Been missing duel links here lately but I haven't played since master duel came out for mobile bc i just like having so much more cards and spaces for cards on the field. Might have to get back into it a little bit here soon though since there's at least some new stuff though I'm sure it'll get stale again after a few days bc in ranked you'll only play like 5 different decks over and over again bc there's a lack off good decks you can even build.

Fluffals can definitely be tiered with the “Kite-fur” builds and bounzer/M7 in the ED for turn one/roundabout lethal they are really resistant to interruption as the can just keep fusing and have decently consistent recursion with Wings. I’ve been having a lot of luck with it on ladder in Legend getting KOG easily. I do think it (like all fusion decks) are extremely weak in a tournament/closed environment as non-fusion area in the side wins games 2 and 3. Very good, fun anime deck, good job Konami.

The frightfur fusions in my op are good borderline great. They have low stats but great effects. I like the bear. I would invest as many monsters as possible in to it to blow up my opponent entire field lol. Theirs one that can inflict burn but can’t attack directly but can still attack on monsters. And most of them are only of the R rarity making them easy to get. Im not going to play them but they good

As we get closer to worlds can you do more coverage? Like 2 days leading up to worlds preliminary then the week after?

The boost ability on Frightfur Whale seems like it would be quite relevant in Duel Links, Since if it is a quick effect like in Master Duel, after popping a card it can raise it's attack to protect itself, While also putting another fusion in grave meaning that even if you frightfur fusion Sabertooth out You can resurrect something. I do wonder if they're gonna push people to use Chimera tho, Since that card doesn't seem as good in Duel Links And even in the actual game is usually outclassed by Sabertooth, Wolf, Whale, Tiger and Kraken.

Hi Dkayed, Master Duel on mobile became unstable after the update. It became unplayable even with high end devices. I hope you can help us let the developers know about it.

I think one of the issues with fluffals is the fact it destroys monsters instead of banishing them or returning them, so cards with destroyed effects are strong against them. Like I beat one person using fluffals with dragunity because they couldn't get rid of ascalon without destroying him and activating his effect to basically bringout another ascalon.

We could really do with the rest of the frightfurs sheep,kraken whale and that other one I get we will get one or 2 in next mini box maybe

Fluffals are really fun. Full power Fluffals are too good for Duel Links though. If they give us a 3rd Toy Vendor, Edge Imp Scythe, Frightfur Patchwork & Cruel Whale, yeahh. That'd be crazy

So, Dkayed seems to have given up on creating Duel Links content. It’s getting about half the views of his Master Duel videos, so it’s understandable. Is there anyone out there to take up the mantle? I don’t want to wait 5 minutes for my opponent to take their turn, so I still play Duel Links. I want a place to get content. Who do you guys recommend?
