I will point out, given how Donald and Gooft reacted to seeing Hades, it's clear that's not who they're looking for. Yes, they're in the Underworld in the world of Olympus, but I've heard a theory that they're actually looking for _Auron_ instead. That honestly makes more sense to me given Auron's story as a whole in FFX.

Maybe at some point they can meet up again, but the world you're seeing in ReMind is distinct from the Shibuya that the TWEWY characters come from. Nomura 2022 (paraphrased): I keep seeing these same responses online, but no Quadratum is not related to the Shibuya from TWEWY or the Kingdom hearts TWEWY characters. Also, Sora is in Aoyama. I know Nomura can be a troll sometimes, but at this point, he's been pretty consistent and his interviews. Quadratum has nothing to do with TWEWY. This isn't exactly the first time a kingdom hearts has implied that a location can exist in more than one world. For example, there's a version of London and the Peter Pan worlds right? Well, it's not the same London that the 101 Dalmatians would have from because their world was destroyed. And there's no way that's the same London that Jane and her father came from in Tarzan.
There is a huge hole in the theory though, the Master of Masters. MoM faded from existence, from his reality. That doesn't mean dead, they might even be prohibited from returning to that reality. What happens to Strelitiza is different from MoM and Sora since they didn't die. So Sora wouldn't be playing the reaper's game. If that is the case, did MoM play the reapers game as well?
If MOM did play and let’s say he won, he could’ve asked for complete knowledge and understanding of everything. This would explain why he effortlessly weaves together plans and knows exactly what needs to happen to achieve his goals. By that same coin I could see sora being set up in the same way. If he plays a reaper game and wins he may find a way to bend realities to his will much the way MOM does.
Master of Masters is holding who Sora really is "hostage". Has been, the entire time. This way Nomura can evolve Sora into anything he wants over time.
These videos are top notch. I get tired of people winging about the complexity of the storyline! The KH universe is amazing and the content it inspires from the community is equally amazing!
The thing that's gnawing at my brain is the part of KH4's trailer where Strelitiza says while Quadratum is the "afterworld" for them (ie; Sora, Her, and I presume all KH based characters) it's also a "world filled with life" for the people who live there. So does that mean that all KH characters end up "dead" when they enter this world? Or do they have to be dead beforehand? I dunno, I don't think this is TWEWY's "Shibuya" since Nomura also stated it's basically not the "same Shibuya" that Neku and gang came from. But if it *is* then I can agree with your theory. Until we get some more concrete evidence I'm gonna remain skeptical.
Technically Sora "died" by getting himself erased from reality by abusing the power of waking. Strelitzia seemed to have been revived by way of data reconstruction. Or at least, her body had been. So it's possible the lifeboat pod sent her to the "otherside of reality" (as Apprentice Xehanort explainedd to 4 year Kairi) due to a failure. So that could explained why she was reconstructed in Quadratum. So it would be an after roll for anyone that got kicked out of reality. But all of the people there are just natural inhabitants.
Sora is there to wake everyone.to bring them back .the box contains the memories of them .only sora can bring back people from the dead. Brain was trying to do that at the end but luxu stopped him
When Sora woke up the first time, it was a dream Quadratum, as is made more or less clear (KH in a nutshell lol) when Riku says he had dreams about Quadratum. The second time was the real Unreality, once his heart found somewhere to reside. I think there's a slim possibility we'll see the TWEWY characters, as there's a parallel. In KH 3D, the TWEWY characters were trapped in a dream version of Traverse Town. Similarly Sora's heart was trapped in dream Quadratum which obviously resembles Shibuya, and Kingdom Hearts is no stranger to sharing worlds, so it's not impossible.
I'm glad Nomura has clarified its not twewy because he did say it years ago and idk why people keep running with the idea despite him outright saying it's not. Like the creator told you no man lol. Either way he confirmed it again today. Still, some of what you're describing could be true because I do think there's more than one realm/plane to the city
Bruh you touch in a sooo interesting point Personally, i dont think sora will be in a reapers game But i strorongly think he will be in somethong veery very like that, with mom testing him like he possible do with yozora. All this talk about trials and test, i rlly think its what is going on here. Its a Nomura paralel. Something we see with frequency in her works. Back in past like 2006-2008 nomura was very into the Death theme with Versus and Twewy i feel like he is melting some of this concepts together and infuse in Kh but in a own kh way. For the things feels like belong this universe, even if looks kinda propostial alien like.
I've never played TWEWY but Darkside could be part of Sora's reaper game just for him but also another part of Sora's awakening as it happens throughout many games in the intro. Even if it's just feel like a tutorial

Anytime I'm going through something I'm always throwing on Kingdom Hearts. So it's like the one video game that I cover on my channel 😅😅😅 but I love your content covering it it's amazing. But my friend was like you have to listen to this and I'm listening to it and I was like okay okay cool cool and then when you said Motor City nerds it made my day!! One thing I'd like to point out about the RG and UG: Playing TWEWY you can scan people's thoughts in the RG and one of these people's thoughts says something along the lines of that they can see the Noise and the battles going on in the UG. This is probably not the only person who can see into the UG from the RG so maybe Riku can see into it too and that's how he finds Sora
I have a lot of respect for Nomura for thinking about the players who would not manage to beat Yozora and thus still wanting to give them something even after their loss. I don't think Sora is gonna be in the Reaper's Game, or at least not the same one from TWEWY. Nomura's stated time and time again that Quadratum has no connection to TWEWY, and I can't remember a time when Nomura lied about the plot to keep something hidden. He usually hints at things but he doesn't straight up fib. So when he says "It has nothing to do with TWEWY, stop reading into it", I kinda gotta take him on his word. That being said, while Sora might have to do something similar to the Reaper's Game, it's not gonna be the exact same by the numbers Repear's Game. I think Nomura is just kinda pulling ideas from everything he's worked on (Kingdom Hearts, TWEWY, Versus 13, maybe even FF7 Remake) and smashing it all together into a new original plot. I can buy however that Sora is "dead"...of course the definition of death in Kingdom Hearts is so all over the place it's really hard to tell what constitutes as an actual death, since nobody ever really dies in the traditional sense. It's probably more accurate to say that Sora, Strelitzia, and the MoM are banished from their reality/plane of existence. Of course I don't know what the MoM did to end up in Quadratum, maybe the same rules don't apply to him, idk. But considering Strelitzia refers to Quadratum as an afterworld for her and Sora, but a real place for everyone else inhabiting it, it's fair to assume you can end up in this place after death, or if you're erased from existence this is where you end up. One thing is certain though, Quadratum isn't just another world like the Disney Worlds we've visited. It's clearly in another plane of existence, completely separate from the Disney/KH reality, and that goes for The World Ends with You too. Since TWEWY characters clearly inhabit the same realm that Sora and Riku do, I feel like Neku and the gang don't inhabit the world of fiction.

My friend has a theory that Yozora and Sora fought in a dream, and never actually met yet. Whereas the reason Yozora was supposed to "save sora" was cause he saw Sora's life much like Ventus did when he was inside Sora's heart, So Yozora saw the things that Sora went through and was sent to save him. Meanwhile, Both Yozora and Sora are seen waking up (Yozora in a car at the end of the secret episode regardless of ending) and Sora at the beginning of the trailer, and the two different endings serve as "nightmares" in a sense for the two characters. It blew my mind.... LOL

But there's more meaning in the fact that it is not Shibuya (written with kanji), but Shibuya (written with katakana). Also, Sora promised Neku and the others in KH3D that he would meet them in Shibuya (written in katakana), but that doesn't mean it's directly connected to this movie. Riddles.
Ok now imma be real and say that this theory has now outstripped my theory about KH4 by a landslide. Which is actually dumb and now I don’t want to share it, but this sounds so Nomura-like and the fact about how this has connection between the TWEWY world in DDD and the reaper game makes sense but I’m still not sure if it’s exactly “their” world since Nomura has debunked the fact that Shibuya isn’t Quadratum. Might be something lost in translation or maybe he’s doing his own version of it with Versus XIII aspects (Since he can’t let it go lmao).
There's no such thing as a dumb theory, nobody knows except Nomura himself😂 and you're right. Square refers to Quadratum as THE Quadratum, that makes me assume it's a massive city based off of multiple real life cities like Shibuya and Shinjuku etc all referred to as The Quadratum

Where conveniently new worlds like Star Wars is to be found to keep within the premise of Kingdom Hearts. Also making it more realistic looking is also helpful for Live-Action worlds as well.
Hahaha the second I heard Hades I was like oh snap this all ties in. Then if you want to get technical goofy got hit by that Boulder... Donald used zettaflare... So they may technically have already sacrificed themselves.. but I definitely think that Hades and Pandora's box are going to become a huge part of helping Donald and Goofy get to Sora. It's very close to dream zanarkand. But much more elaborate. Then when you throw in OTHERWORLD the opening music to FFX. Which Nomura was a part of that game. And AFTERWORLD it all just seems very close to one another
It's neat to see Strelitzia and have her be in an actual console game but something bugs me. She technically died a looooong time ago, a bit before the Dandelions flew off into different time periods. I can understand that Quadratum is an afterlife in this series, but shouldn't Strelitzia be extremely old or deadzo? Did MoM or Luxu take her soul/heart/whatever through time?? Who's to say Sora has pulled this off many times before when he doesn't die of his own free will like for Kiri in the first kingdom hearts game?
12:30 there's a video that says Donal and Goofy wasn't looking for hades. They looking for Auron. In FFX, Auron able to go other places and time while being dead so perhaps that's why they are looking for him. And it kinda make sense considering donald's reaction to (maybe) hades since they trying to avoid him, not find him.
So um Nomura has now confirmed twice that Quadratum isn’t Neku’s Shibuya BUT I do feel like Sora is probably going to go through something LIKE the reaper’s game and um technically there’s a possibility Neku’s Shibuya is in this realm TOO BUT Sora would HAVE to travel there😅

If nomura’s track record is anything to go by then a happy ending where everyone gets out peachy isn’t likely. The only person I think who has the ability and skill to even get to sora is riku. Maybe Mickey but even then I think that’s not the play. Best case scenario is that MOM yanks sora out of quadratum
In the end of kh3 we saw him passing away with eraqus into the light but he didn't fade away like sora who abused the power if xehanort had fade away yes we would see him but we saw riku who entered thx to the fairy godmother if i recall correctly her name😂😂😂 but i believe no only sora riku thx to the portal and the lady thx to her death i pressume
I think Strelitzia saying that Quadratum was like an afterworld for herself and Sora was more because they died/lost their existence in their original reality. I mean, I'm pretty sure that even in TWEWY, only the people in the RG could actually interact with RG stuff while for those in the UG, they just act as unmovable objects or pass through them altogether. So if Sora was in the UG, he wouldn't've been able to open the door to see Strelitzia.
