Well he did force a bunch of kids to fight and die in a keyblade war with 0 explanation of why. I still think he has a plan though and he might even be Sora.
"I don't plan on sacrificing anyone." And "I have a safety plan." Lead me to hope so, but "Don't believe what you hear" throws everything into an unsolvable whirlwind.
Aside from the whole Ava/Kairi’s Grandma/Heart Transfer theory that I’m still pondering about. I gotta say that this is one the best theories you’ve put together that has made me focus more on what Luxu’s role and the MoM’s plan could possibly be. I feel like the whole Quadratum story involving Yozora is nothing more than a small distraction that Nomura planned in order for people to not try to predict the upcoming events and will later be an important part when Luxu completes his role and the real 13 darknesses show up.
Doesn’t the MoM literally call Luxu the traitor at the end of UX after he walks away. Therefore, the MoM already knows Luxu is going to betray him. And just by Luxu reveling the MoM plan to Ava is a betrayal and Luxu had No Name on him when he told her. So in effect, the MoM already knows the possible plans Ava could have tried to come up with. Ava could also be the “true dandelion” Luxu sends to the future in UX
Now that Dark Road is over, what are your thoughts on the person sent to the future? The "True Dandelion." Still speculating this? I'm curious, and just trying to learn.
@@ReeBoi17 So I have a few thoughts. 1. I still believe that the true dandelion is either Ava or it could be Strelitzia. Whoever Luxu sent in the white robe, they either ended up in the future (Radiant Gardens/Subject X) or Quadradem. 2. A lot of people thought Subject X was Skulled, but from what we see in Dark Road, she grew up in the time of Missing Link, becoming Xehanort’s mother. 3. Since Subject X was believed to be a little younger, and no one could provide a definitive description (too dark to see) I believe it was Ava. Because in Subject Xs journal entry she said she was rescued by a man with an eyepatch (Luxu) and he seemed set to keep the Lost Masters return a secret. At the end of KH3 Luxu did not seemed too surprised that Ava didn’t show up. So if she was Subject X he could have taken her anywhere with the expectation she may have her own plans once her memory returned. 4. But when it comes to the “true dandelion” the question is is Ava the true dandelion because she is the leader of the dandelions, picked by the MoM or is Strelitzia, because she was supposed to be one of the 5 chosen leaders of the dandelions instead of Ventus?
It’s so obvious. Ava is Kairi. Her pink hoodie has fox ears. Since she was slain by Xehanort during the keyblade war she didn’t summon with the rest of the foretellers. Then later on Sora rescues her heart with the power of waking and finds himself in Quadratum. Right where the book of prophecy leads to. It’ll be a huge shock when Kairi is revealed to be an ancient foreteller.
this is an incredibly solid theory, you've got me onboard with this and this is very refreshing since most people are recycling absolute absurdities like the next kh title is going to be a verum rex game because its an easy algorithm farm for their channels. Congratulations you are now my favourite KH content creator :D
Instantly fell for this channel. Love me some KH theories, but you're actually well-spoken, sound pretty intelligent, clearly know your stuff about KH, and put a lot of effort into your videos. Earned a sub from me, and i'm looking forward to watching this channel grow.
HMK theorizes that the Black Box is like an actual black box, all data of the world's, hearts, events all backed up inside and with Kingdom Hearts, if it's opened, it basically resets everything back to the beginning. It does explain why events in certain are repeated and why Luxury is told never to open it. The data in Jiminy's journal was scary enough, imagine what could be done with the data inside the black box.
After seeing some of Dark Road, I'm beginning to think Vor, Xehanort & Eraqus' classmate in Scala, is Kairi's grandma. A big hint here is their size... Both Vor & Kairi's grandma are _extremely_ tiny, & Vor is hinted to be notably magically powerful. The ages line up too. Their faces are similar, & Vor reminds me of KH1 Kairi with a cheeky personality. This would also explain her grandma's detailed knowledge of the keyblade war & the various worlds. As to Ava, I do have a theory... We found out that upon their 'death', keyblade wielders of the past were given the option to either sleep, or become a brand new heart & live again. What if Ava, a master whose element of expertise was light, decided to become a new heart, & became... Kairi? We've already seen some possible hints that Ephemer may have become Sora. Given the rather cute interactions between Ephemer & Ava, thinking of them going on to become Sora & Kairi is a fun thought.
This is the theory I vibe with the most, especially since the only time we ever hear Dearly Beloved play in Back Cover is when Ephemer and Ava are speaking together near the fountainl.
Yes. Mostly all of this. Hell I could add to it. The reason Luxu moved Subject X was so Ava could use Skuld as a vessel and become young for this meeting. Ava being Ava however, would vehemently oppose such a plan, and chooses to die of old age. 100% agree that this is what her choice is. Even the lore book can’t help but note how similar Skuld and Ava are. Disney movies also disgustingly back up this theory, such as Moana, whose Grandmother’s passing helped her development.
4:15 One thing about Vanitas being a darkness though l must point out: While it makes PERFECT sense..... Darkness was still within Ventus when Vanitas wasn't. lf you recall when Sora first made his way inside Ventus heart in Re;Mind, Darkness spoke to Sora, even taking on a form and fighting him, despite Vanitas being his own entity. If this WAS Vanitas, it seems odd he wouldn't just... retake his form to combat Sora. Sora even thought Darkness was Vanitas at first. Don't get me wrong, l could be incorrect, l'm just opening more room for discussion
I don't think Ava is Kairi's grand mother. However I think Ava is the lost master in Lost Master Arc. We can account for all the masters from Union X except for her. I'm inclined to think Ava was knocked out and transported through the life boat. For me and this has been a more recent theory, I think there is a dark side of Kingdom Hearts where the blessing of the Light, aka magic/keyblades/so forth, does not exist. Instead they had to develop technology to grow which explains why Quadratum seems to be a technology based society while Destiny Islands has a magical, adventure may happen anytime type of feel. Strelitzia is dead and on the other side of Kingdom Hearts which passes the hearts of people back and forth. However, her and Sora have the strength of masters or stronger(another theory). She could have been there for a few hours before him or centuries, which I imagine we'll find out at the start of KH4.
RU-vid finally being cool for once and giving me a new KH content creator! I can see you've put a lot of work in these videos, so I can't help but support ya! You got me as your 490th sub! Here's to 490, and beyond! I'll definitely keep an eye out for your videos! I love your theories so far and I just know you'll grow especially with this year being KH's 20th anniversary! Keep up the amazing work! :D
I am not sure that I agree that our younger Keyblade Masters have the power to take out their hearts and put it into a new vessel. Or even if they have the power needed to do something like that they don't have the skill or knowledge. I think that after the Foretellers disappeared that the title of Master changed. From one who has mastered all that the Keyblade can do, or at lest mastered the basics with specialty. To something a lot more political. After all with maybe the exception of Brain after becoming Luxu's student, none of the other Dandelions had anyone to teach them all of the secrets of the Keyblade and thus would be unable to become true Masters of it knowing all the skills that a Keyblade can give. Masters like Mickey, Aqua, Riku, or characters that have the same power level and even skills as them like Terra, and Sora can not be true Masters. Not in the same way Luxu and the foretellers are. To much knowledge has been lost and honestly none of our characters have done anything that shows the same level of Skill and Mastery as what the Foretellers have shown. With maybe the exaction of Terra's Lingering Will which is a lot stronger then anything Terra has shown. And the Foretellers haven't really shown the same level of power as whatever destroyed the Badlands long before even Chi. Master has become a word used to describe who wielders are meant to look to for instruction either on the battlefield or as this person is ready to become a teacher way. Riku become a Master not because he has actually mastered anything but rather because they where about to go to war and Mickey needed someone other then himself to be a leader. Luxu has never respected Aqua as a Keyblade master, he has never even called her one. In BBS he outright calls her a Keyblade Wielder after he fights with her. The foretellers are going to look at the "Masters" of the present day story and they are going to laugh in our faces because none of them are actually masters. I think that the ability to put your heart into someone else body is something that Xehanort learned directly from either Luxu or MoM, and it is a long forgotten art. And that even Xehanort didn't know all that a true master needs to know about the Keyblade. I don't think any of our characters right now can stand up to any of the foretellers and win. Which Sora and Riku could have done with Xehanort. Xehanort himself might have been the closest we ever had to a True Master but he wasn't one. As for what I think Ava's mission was. I don't think it would have needed to be something as recent as KH3. It honestly could just be something that had long reaching affects. And Luxu didn't know what happened to her afterward. My personal thoughts on where Ava is, is that she is somewhere that she is unaffected by time. Either in a unchained state or in the realm of darkness guarding something, or even in Unreality watching whatever MoM is doing. She could have easily also abused the Power of Waking completing her mission but also not saving herself in time to meet with her friends. If that is the case then we even have another character in the same position as Sora who might be able to give us some clues as to how to save him. Although I will admit Ava is a possible person for being Kairi's Grandma I am nowhere close to thinking that is the most likely answer or the right one. Nor do I think Kairi is secretly Ava. Ava would not lower herself to having her every action, inaction, conversation, and thought be about a boy. Kairi is a girl with a crush, Ava is a woman with a mission and the will to see it through to the end. It would greatly hurt Ava's character for her to pretend to be Kairi this whole time, also I think we would have gotten some clues about it in KHMOM if they where the same person. When they were looking through Kairi's heart for a year.
I'm glad I've found your youtube chain because thanks to your videos I can finally have all my questions answered since I've finished KH3. You're the best 😃👍
So, this sort of falls into a theory I heard recently. Ava carried out her role with the Dandelions, that's fine. But clearly she had another goal after that, likely sme way to disrupt fate, and someone likely wasn't okay with that, and that someone had to take care of it. As for who is unclear, but Luxu implies he knows or was there when it happened. As Luxu states, she carried out her role and looked up as if he knew she was dead or gone somehow, possibly implying he saw something that Ava was having to fight, but left before seeing the result. Well the theory implies that Ava is the Lich Heartless at the end of KH3, gathering the hearts of the strongest lights as she was meant to do before. My guess is Luxu is the one who offer her into becoming said Heartless. And with Heartless, come Nobodies, and the KHUX Dark Roads showed us Skuld is Xehanort's mother, more or less proving she isn't Subject X. My guess is Ava's Nobody is Subject X based almost solely off these points, and the fact that Ava is otherwise unaccounted for, only known to have done what she needed to do, and isn't available to show up with the rest of the Foretellers.
How do you not have more subs? This video was so well done. The quality of this vid was excellent. As for your theory, it's something I've ever considered but you explained very well. It makes sense. I'd love for KH to go into this direction.
Hey man great video. I really enjoyed your ideas shared in this, especially since I always liked the idea of Ava being kairi's grandma and the traitor so this helped to add to that. Remind me of the nextgennovelist theory about ava being the grandma and traitor from a while ago, he mentioned how ava's name translates to grandma, not sure if you knew that but I think that detail is worthy of being mentioned alongside all the other good points being brought up. If she's not the grandma then I have to wonder what else is she doing right now?
I have to say, your idea that there are pure darknesses inside the box is probably the most solid interpretation I've heard. It checks, and it makes sense.
8:53 - 8:57 Yeah, as of the final chapters of Dark Road, the Foretellers are true darknesses. Along with Vanitas being a regular darkness extracted from Ventus by Xehanort. What I do think though, is that inside the box, is a special kind of being we never seen before, only able to be unlocked by those 13 keys.
Yknow, this makes sense actually, if you remember in UX, Luxu actually kills 1 of the pure Darknesses, and didnt stop Ephemer Skuld and the Player from trapping 4 of them in between worlds, my theory is the Box contains the data Daybreak Town, since it was supposed to trap the 13 darknesses, so it would mean in there theres only 7 inside the box which most likely wasnt what the MoM wanted, buuut i think the Traitors identity is obvious tbh, i dont think it was meant to be an actuall traitor but rather someone who had a little darkness to make everyone doubt so everyone would fight and lead to the events of trapping them, what i mean is the traitor was the player, even dark chirithy said so during the story, and in Back Cover the Foretellers start to doubt the moment they see the chirithy tainted in dark colors, which in turn leads to the war which leads to the trap of data Daybreak, which would lead to the MoM true plan, which all was kind of not fully made thanks to Ava and Luxu and Everyone on Daybreak town and Sora and the gang, remember when Kingdom Hearts was just boy with big Key bonks evil dude? Yeah, good times
I think the true dandelion sent forward has to be subject X. I don’t think it’s Skulld, could be Ava, Strelitzia doesn’t make sense after seeing the KH4 trailer 😮💨
Pretty fun theory, though I kinda don't follow one thing - do you theorize that Ava placed her heart into Kairi? Also imagine some lucky devil out there having a family with Ava and living out his life with her completely ignorant of all this impending cosmic doom?
But the point of the second keyblade war (the mobile game event) was for the fortellers to attract the darkness. They can't be in the box they should already be inside the fortellers.
*videos not vids. What? It takes too long to write two more letters, right? Ridiculous. You did the longest, so two more is nothing. I don't understand why you would shorten a word that is already short enough!
i think some of your ideas for what ava could be up to are really interesting and solid! i'm just not sure it has to mean ava is kairi's grandma, or that she body hopped into kairi before passing away. i think that would imply some pretty major retcons, given that that then means sora also hosted ava for a while, and the question of what happened whenever sora had a heart other than his own has already had a lot of implications. i'm not against the idea, i'm just wondering if it's necessary.
Knowing Nomura, he values balance. Darkness and light. Honestly, I could see MOM wanting that too. If he IS light, he's severely outnumbered. That's not balance. But that would also mean he doesn't want all of the darknesses gone. All but one. One to balance the scales, the way it should be. And if he's the last light, then it would make sense that he couldn't do it himself. Once he's gone, he's gone, the light expires. And all the darknesses are still there. But leaving one left... That makes sense THATS winning. Balancing the world. Xehenort wanted that, but he wanted to DESTORY and Reset the world to do it. The Master of Master's way doesn't do that. It keeps the inevitable fight going to fix the problem. It doesn't give up. And if anything, it's the darknesses that are swarming at the end of the day. Their nature is clear. Mom just knows that nature and the fact that there are more of them than him, he knows its inevitable.
Awesome theory. But if sora wasn't part of thee Master of masters plan of destroying the 13 pure darkness and it was ava all along . Then what was the master of masters gonna do to destroy them himself. Could he really take on foretellers controlled by darkness??
The Master of Masters is Lea. One, it's always someone you don't expect. Two, I have not seen Lea wear anything other than the coat. The Master is too much of a scaredy cat to take his off. Three, Lea tells everyone his name and the Master apparently can't say his...strong contrast. Four, why else would Lea keep telling us to memorize so...Unless he's going to reveal something big later.
in KH3 she said that the box contains the Book of Prophecy and was the first to discover that the box does not exist at the moment, it will appear after the war or during the war. But that doesnt mean its the truth what is inside. "Be quiet and dig, you imbecile. I must find that Book of Prophecies and make it my own. His was the only clue we have. We cannot afford to dismiss it without a thorough investigation." and "Silence, imbecile. I mean the box does not exist now." "Light and darkness are fated to clash. A Keyblade War is upon us. We need only wait for that destined moment. No matter the victors, the box will be revealed."
Ava's true was the true danilion and the true keys of lights. Kari and the princesses. Thinl about it. No materr what happens kari is always a key of light.
I love speculating about this series, but I would say we should be careful with our interpretation of kh1 since some things don't add up with the rest of the story. for example, there was the fact that the keyblade weilder is just one (well, 2 if you count mickey, but he had a reverse version of kingdom key, locking the dtd from the opposite side, kinda implying that it is somehow the same key?), which was extremely underlined when possesed Riku pretty much stole it. At the same time, Donald and Goofy never acknowledge the fact that hey, many people can actually weild that thing, while Mickey was on the realm of darkness completely disregarding Aqua, cause reasons... All I 'm saying is that kh1 is not reliable to draw conclusions. That being said, I 'm tooootally buying the story about Ava essentially being connected to Kairi, or even be Kairi herself. For once, it would make her character way more interesting and deep, and second, it could kinda excuse why she was a damsel in distress- to motivate Sora to because who he is! Now that I think about it, why was Kairi literally STARING that ultra sus door on destiny islands, when the events of kh1 took place? How could she, a simple girl, transfer her heart to Sora so easily (ok, they are connected, but what is she at that point)? Why did Riku tell Sora that "the door HAS opened" etc, when on the next cutscene we see the door closed, only to open again when Sora is baited inside? And last but not least, how come does she get kidnapped each time? It has to be the plan, you don't do that randomly!!! Is this true? Probably not. Would it make a hell of a plot twist? Hell yeah!!!
Watching a guy rant about Kingdom Hearts for 10+ minutes? My guy, any fan of the Kingdom Hearts series that will tell you that it takes at least 15 minutes to give a rudimentary explanation of any particular part of the Kingdom Hearts lore. A 15-minute explanation on a theory consisting of multiple story elements should be considered speedrunning-Kingdom-Hearts-Lore status. Jokes aside, The Master having 7 of the True Darknesses in the box is the only theory that's made any sense to me. Unless Disney suddenly pulls something absolutely new out of nowhere (like, for example, the Master was hiding a new species of Heartless/Nobody/Unversed/Soulless/Whatever and there's no way we could have known), this is by far the most compelling possibility I've heard of. Also leave Kairi's grandmother alone, she never hurt anyone
