It's because it's a Western RPG game viewed through the lens of the Japanese. Dragon Quest is pretty similar although that was directly taking off of Dungeons and Dragons proper. It just hits different.

@@yaqubebased1961 Dragons Dogma, Dragon Age, Morrowind, Oblivion, Fable series, Wizards of Legend, Magicka 2 and Terraria off the top of my head. Thats all personal opinion but I believe that they all do magic better than Legacy.

I'd say it's more the studio Not the fact that it's single player. And what you have said I agree with, definitely need to be able to get strong and just be powerful. Live out the fantasy side of games. Dragons dogma reminds me of Outward. Except outward is less forgiving and incorporates traveling the land as most of its gameplay is walking/sprinting to the next area(s) Huh, just realized some similar things about Starfeild and Outward. Both are exploration and traveling/walking sims and how simply good Outward is in those regards makes Starfeild look.... Oof I really wish I didn't have that come to mind. I was meh it's a 6.5 at best with Starfeild, now.... Im deleting it. It's bad. How can dozens of games 8+ years old be better in even the most basic ways. I got off topic, it's late/early morning. Can't wait For Dragons Dogma 2

Both Yellow and Blue are always pretty cool…except for Mages, kinda sad to see it being overshadowed by Sorcerer.

Disagree. Spells that do average damage should have high knockback and cause stunning. To build distance so you can use the more powerful spells. Other options make the lighting whip not take for ever to come out. Make a spell that makes your staff send out powerful shockwaves with melee attacks. I don’t think sorcerer should be sitting ducks with all there spells.

With what I've seen of DD2, seems like the sorcerer won't be so stuck like in the first game.

Strider is more of a meme than Assassin tbh
