Sorin Markov EXPLAINED | MTG Lore  

Listen to that subtle narration. The tasteful artistry of it. Oh my God, it’s even relevant to the current holiday season...

I just put together my Edgar Markov deck, and I have a ton of the legendary vampires and Sorin, and even Avacyn. Holy COW! I had no idea there was lore about so many cards I look at daily being directly related, some even by blood figuratively and literally. I'm so amazed though that the lore goes THIS deep holy cow I'd pay money for a movie or even a Netflix series about the Markov bloodline!

I just found this while searching for information about Crimson Vows. Its an awesome video, i really enjoyed it! The low, quiet narration is on point and you put in so much details! Sorin is my favorite Planeswalker and Sorin Markov is the very first planeswalker card i purchased.

Sorin's Lore sounds very intriguing It's a pity that Innistrad's story doesn't have a conclusion. Although that's a general issue with MTG stories. Most of them are not finished and are full of cliffhangers. I think I start to repeat myself with this statement.

Sorin touched down upon zendikar. This was a foolish endeavor. She never listened. But he needed to try. Instantly as his feet hit the ground,hundreds of spears made of metal neared sorins throat as nahiri arrived. "Sorin." Nahiris voice burned with hate. But she was surprised seeing sorin...like that. Where once stood the aloof and cold vampire planeswalker of innistrad,stood a broken husk of a being. His grief was unending as the sun and sky. "Nahiri." "You have some nerve coming back here after leaving it with ugin." "...im sorry." "...what?" "Im sorry. ...know that i am sorry." "Your lying." "Then why am i still alive nahiri? Finish what you started. Death is a mercy for me at this rate." Sorin spat back with tired fury. Nahiri steped back...then released the spears. "Why are you here sorin? If its forgiveness you seek,it wont change what happened." "Ive been keenly aware. ...i need your help. To rebuild innistrad." "Why? Cant you just persuade avacyns little cult to do your dirty work-" "You. Do not have the right to speak her name." The ancient vampire said darkly "So what if i did anyway? Its not like i could simply tell the people of innistrad,i who is one of the 1st vampires of the plane,created an angel who herself started her own following? My creation is dead by my own hand,the taint of phyrexia remains fresh and my own people have begun there normal hunts without me barely keeping them in check." Sorin threw his blade aside. "I am a fool. I should have helped you when you needed it despite everything. And i should have done more to persuade ugin. But as guilty as we both are for being the architect of our homes dammnation,i will not let innistrad fall and burn. And i would die a trillion deaths to see my home restored. You however continue to fester your bitterness and rage,refusing to acknowledge what you have done to yourself and others. Im willing to change if it means saving my home. And i can not do this without help." Sorin said desperate. That aloof monster was there,but it was borderline replaced by who sorin once was. Innistrads protection. Nahiri at last let go. "...fine. you win sorin. Ill help,and you can do the same here. But once this is done,your gone." "..that is fine."
