Sorrento - Gabriel Cyr // Two-Voice Counterpoint Concepts 

A few months ago, the great guitar player and Université Laval professor François Rioux asked me if I would be interested in doing a composition inspired by the concepts from his book ''Two-Voice Contrapuntal Guitar Method''. I gladly accepted the offer and this composition is the result of my study and work on these concepts!
I traveled in Italy last year and I absolutely loved it! One of my favourite city was Sorrento and the few days we spent there were incredible. The memories from this trip gave me the initial inspiration for this composition.
The piece will be featured on an album with contrapuntal compositions from other guitarists and the transcription will be available later this year.
