Awesome. For hobby reinvigorating purposes all I collect are funny bad cards, mostly 289 Hamelin. Honestly, pretty lucrative. There’s so many beyond these.
Amazing picks here guys, that Brooks Robinson is haunting! I always come back to cards that are so terrible that they’re amazing, like the 1991 Proline Portraits Football. All those Zubaz! I think 1991 Leaf Studio was the baseball equivalent, the Steve Lake with the bird on his back or Alex Fernandez’s sweet unibrow.
Man, you guys had me laughing on this one. Brooks is looking like Bobby Boucher after he ran out of tackling fuel. I remember when I first came across that card years ago. This must have been where the defensive specialist hate started in the hobby.
I love this show! I have turned it into a drinking game and I do a shot every time Chris mentions his family. Now I have two reasons to drink when they come up. Proud of you little brother!
Totally agree on the Brooks Robinson pick, it's a shame since his RC in '57 is so great. Ernie Banks also had a bad picture in '55 after a great RC image, and then they used the same photo in '56!
Hey I asked this on your recent Spitballin cards video, but I’ll ask here too. Chris how do you feel about 2018 Ronald Acuna Update Golds? Is that a parallel you’d stay away from at the price point it’s at? I’m thinking about dipping into some of the lower end higher pop Acuna rookies to round out what I own. I’m trying to choose between gold or bat down
Hey man, Chris here! I like that gold card - especially if you can find a PSA 10. The Pop will always be lower than the bat down and the golds are the longest running topps parallel (since 1992!). Numbered to 2018 so 1/5 the print run of the bat down. I’d lean gold!

I don’t have the deepest of pockets but I settled for Acuna’s white jersey with glove in an 8 and bought his Stadium club ssp because of your alls channel, instead of buying all his higher pop stuff in high grades. So you all have helped me with my Acuna collection. Thank you

I need to find another braves player to put some stock into besides Acuna. Maybe next live I’ll ask y’all if you’d go Albies, Riley, Olson or Harris
