Sort a Repeating Group by a field's field | Bubble.io Tutorial 

Note: Regarding adding data fields (the second method explained in this video), it is best practice to minimize the number of fields you have per data type, even if they are lightweight. Therefore, a more efficient approach is to add a field type Country to each Capital. Then, you can have a 1x1 tiny Repeating Group on the page with Data Source: Do a search for Capitals (sorted by Name) Countrys, or Do a search for Capitals (sorted by Population) Countrys. The initial Repeating Group, if sorted, changes its data source to the 1x1 Repeating Group List of Countries. Shoutout to Bubble TipLister for suggesting this approach. Thanks! Yours is the first good demonstration I've seen for List Shifter. I tried your steps myself and it worked great. Keith made some videos himself but they're all over the place and hard to follow. List Shifter seems very useful and not hard to use but it's no fun guessing how it works. IMHO it needs more simple demonstrations like yours.

Great teaching, thanks a lot! There may be an update necessary here, if anyone's not being able to get it to work. I found that we must add another action to 'display list in repeating' group, otherwise the RG will not be updated automatically.

Great video. I just want to know is there a method we can update the data in columns that are linked with other table?

Is there a way to use two sorting fields, similar as what bubble offers in the built-in sorting feature, without going through creating another listshifter element? I tried to add another SORT action in the same workflow, but as I see, just the last action keeps the effect. Context: I'm trying to sort items that contains a field of custom data-type called 'Period'. That 'Period' data-type have 'Year' field and 'Month' field. So I want to show the items in order of Period, which correct sorting is: Primarly sorted by Year, and secondarily sorted by Month.

Why it doesn't work with Dropdowns? In which way I can sort alphabetically dropdowns options always in case I need to sort for a field's field?

Hello. I noticed that at exactly 3 minutes and 54 seconds of this video there is a cut, exactly in the part that shows the option ListShifterKW's Original List's Capital, giving the impression that there was a pause in the video and then an edition of it. However, when I use the plugin in my Bubble app, the CAPITAL field option does not appear, but only the normal fields, when we do not use the plugin. Can you help me understand what might be going on? Thank you.

Hola!! Tengo un repeating group donde hay una lista de compañias y donde tengo que ordenar el repeating group en funcion de que empresa tuvo una variacion de ventas mas alta entre dos fechas. Esa variacion la calculo dentro del repeating grup (es un texto que busca ventas por la compañia de la cell, y las fechas que el usuario elije). El tema es que la variacion no es un dato, entonces hay manera de ordenar x variacion de mas alta a mas baja?
