Heya! Grab a cuppa and your favourite art supplies, and join me for a relaxed day at the art desk. Today I'm sorting through my watercolour paints to find out which ones need restocking soon! I've been on a no-buy for new watercolours this year, focusing on painting with the pigments I already have. Let's have a look and see which paints I've been using up!
I have a mixture of different pigments and brands that I use, which I collected over the years. You don't need to have as many as this, especially if you're just starting out. Have fun with what you can! You can always build from there over time too if it feels right for you :)

I’ve watched this video a million times, kind of a asmr moment. Hopefully you ll can make another one talking about your favorite ones e.g out of all your colors and showing your tubes 🫶😅

You reminded me that I need to restock on several holbein tubes 😩 I loove sennelier po73, I think it's my favorite "orange" so far 😅

I've yet to try Holbein watercolours, but I've heard they are lovely 💜 They must be good if you need to restock several lol!

You have decent selection, mine are so different. I do buy sets this is why mine are more standard and multiple different brands with same pigment.😅 I want to try Opera Pink, Lavander and some maybe Umber Violet, and Amethist. And I want to try QOR teal, cobalt violet, some kind of pretty blue. I keep missing that DS color you want to refill, in a small tube. Looks interesting.

Those all sound like gorgeous colours! Umber violet and amethyst especially. The small tube I want to restock is Bloodstone Genuine by Daniel Smith. It's one of my favourite dark neutrals I've tried so far.

hello i'm not throught the whole video yet ,but in case you've not heard PR 206 has been discontinued it's bound to disappear from the shelf one day . (apparently no watercolor brand is out of stock now , we may still have years ...)

Oh no that's such a shame! So many of the quinacridones seem to be discontinued now. Hopefully we can still have access to PR206 for a while 🤞
