Sorting out old school work, and the audio was recorded the wrong way (two different mics) so the image is flipped to match. I wasn't sure how else to fix it...
I'm loving this more "natural" type of asmr. Like how you're not spending a minute on each piece of paper tapping it slowly and rubbing it and whispering "ah yes, my notice for jury duty" lol. Always get better tingles from vids like this one because it's so authentic
+j thor Bahaha this cracked me up X'D and I agree! It's getting hard to find asmr videos that are more authentic, as in performing normal tasks and stuff. Everyone has to do the tappy thing for an hour. Not that I'm fully complaining though... :P
Exactly! For someone like me, who hates tapping and scratching sounds, it's almost impossible to find a nice ASMR video without them, most ASMR artists feel like they have to tap and scratch everything they touch -_- This one is so authentic, but also calm and gentle. Very very nice video indeed! +1 Subscriber =)
I train/teach for a living. Whenever my students/participants take an exam I go into a trance. Have had these experiences since I was a kid. The experience is quite palpable. More research needs to be done on this phenomenon. It's just hard to get a research grant answering a question involving 'paper shuffling and mild euphoria'.
I enjoy this mostly because I love paper noises but also because you are not just fucking around with paper for the lels. Nothing makes me happier when the person in an ASMR video is actively doing something productive or something that you know, has a purpose OTHER than just making noise I don't use this to sleep, but I DO use it to calm down and relax. Thank you kindly
Kato Kivera Thank you, too! I completely agree with you. I still love the videos where it's not productive, but I just don't watch them, I just listen and chill. :) This was the video that gave me the idea... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-W8HX6lypp1U.html ^_^
oml love it when I was in like third grade I just started getting so relaxed when people would like start playing with blocks or paper I didn't really understand and then I found ASMR and I was like oh I'm not alone but thank you
yes!! me too!! I never understood why I felt so sleepy. It doesn't happen to me often but when it does it's heaven lol. Recently this girl at my working was filing papers and I got so sleepy watching her. Glad I found this video!
This is one of my favorite asmr paper videos. It's natural and real. There are too many that move slow and spend too much time just trying to make a sound. Thank you for an awesome asmr paper video.
This is *so* close to what triggers my asmr. For me, it was always handing a teacher my essay for review before I handed in the final version. The sound of the pages rustling a bit, and sliding against each other. Sometimes a bit of scribbling in the margins, and every once in a while a cough or clearing of throat, or sip of coffee. No talking needed, really. I never know this chill-feeling I got was a thing anyone else ever experienced, or what to even call it.
Haha I was ecstatic when I found out ASMR was a thing. I just called them tingly things. I never knew talking would give me ASMR, so I think videos and real life are different for me. Pages moving are a huge trigger for me too! ^_^
I know this is 3 years old, but I just recently discovered the beautiful world of ASMR. Sounds I have enjoyed for over 40 years. This one is perfect, not just the sounds, but I also love the look. The sweatshirt sleeves pulled down, the ring and the hands. Makes for a nice relaxing experience. Thank you.
OMG... thanks so much for this. Many years ago I did a search for sounds like this but there was nothing out there. you have no idea how much I appreciate that you made this.
Im so glad these were the sounds for you!! Fortunately there are heaps of ASMR videos out there now, although I admit trying to find videos with that sound you're after can be hard. Honestly I am so happy to see you have found what you wanted, and in my video too! ^_^
Wow, love it! I always get the chills when somebody next to me is going through a pile of papers, but I never attributed it to ASMR. Thanks for the video ;)
When I was in elementary school, we had desks that had storage compartments under the table top. So we would have to lift the table top to get to our books. The boy behind me was messy with his storage area. Crumbled up papers mixed in with his books, pencils, crayons, etc. I loved sitting in front of him because of all the paper sounds he constantly made.
New to these videos and find this one especially relaxing. It may be the best paper one I've found yet. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos. It's a whole new world, where relaxing and sleeping are very real possibilities. Thanks again
this is probably my most watched asmr video of all honestly, i just keep coming back! i never knew it was possible to get this much enjoyment from a pile of papers wtf life is weird/brains are weird but i just feel so relaxed and happy whenever i listen to it :) this is my perfect trigger sound
Tingle Bubba! You were the first asmrtists I discovered a few months ago when I learned that this tinglely euphoric 'thing' I've experienced my whole life had a name and a community. Look at you now girl. 55,000 views!!! Congrats! Still love your vids. Like others have said they are not staged like others. Good work!
+Tracy Stout Behunin Thank you so so so much!! This comment has literally made my day. To be the first asmrtist you found makes me giddy XD And I know right? The views for this video just exploded and Im so grateful ^_^ Thank you!
I just imagined a scenario Her:”Honey im sorry theres extra paperwork to do and i thought maybe id do it here” Him:”so how are you gonna sleep well this late?” Her:”Ohh,i got that covered ;)”
tbh same sometimes... my handwriting changes depending on the temperature, my mood, the season, the phase of the moon, the number of birds currently in flight... and so on and so on :P hehe
Hello,I absolutely love the video, so relaxing and so natural just like everyone else said. I am thinking of doing some asmr videos as well and just don't know where to begin on what equipment to use. Could you tell me what your equipment set up is, for instance do you use a smart phone on a tripod or video camera on tripod or regular camera on tripod and do you use a separate microphone. I just want to experiment but also want my videos to be beneficial. Thanks, Andrea
Andrea Thomas So for this video I used a wacky setup. Video camera on tripod to record, and singstar microphones connected to Garageband on my laptop for the binaural sound. My other videos I just use a lil Canon video camera which has its own binaural ability. It is much easier, and I dont often use a tripod. More like a stack of books or something random.
+Christian Vidauri That'll be ASMR :) That's what my videos are for, to induce these tingles. Thousands of people make ASMR videos for that because people love the feeling so much. I stole a small definition from 'ASMR SuperTingles'... ---> ASMR stands for autonomous sensory meridian response, which can create a tingling sensation in the head and body, and help you relax. Some people use ASMR videos to help them sleep. Certain triggers can be associated with ASMR, such as gentle whispering, tapping on certain materials, talking softly, and various types of work.(ru-vid.com/show-UClfxALS3CqAfux2hhTasjAA) Take a look around my channel, you may be able to find the sounds that trigger you the most! ^_^
Hahaha indeed i miss you're voice! But this one was cool as well, paper sounds are nice. There was just a sound during all the video, sounds like electricity or smthing and which wasnt in the previous videos, maybe a lamp or smthin like that. Anyway cool video:)
Yeah I know what sound you mean, I'll do my best to get rid of it in my next video. Thank you so much for your comments though, they really make my day! ^_^
Tingle Bubba Can't wait for a voice video! And triggers that you particulary like could be great as well. ps: Tingle bubba is maybe the cutest name i've heard for an asmr channel hahaha :D Hope a new video will be On soooon!
+bearinstincts Yup Cianyx and Holman are right. Its flipped because for some reason the sound was flipped and I didnt know how to fix it, so instead I just flipped the image too. It wouldve been awful if the sound was different to the video :P I wouldve gone insane
Tingle Bubba oooo awesome! I know New Zealand because of Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and Peter Jackson. They were shot in Wellington, Stone Street, right? Im btw from The Netherlands, that Tiny country next to Germany and the North Sea :)
Purple Moon I'm not sure where exactly Lord of the Rings was shot, I know it was in lots of different places though ;) That's so cool! I was so close to your country in March when I was in Germany!! ^_^ hehe that's so exciting :D
Darren Sidney Yes, the camera is flipped. :P I had to do that because something went wrong with the sound and it flipped itself so the easiest way to fix it was flip the video. Haha I hope it's not much of a bother :)
+Elizabeth M Yeah I had to flip the video because somehow I flipped the sound, and couldn't fix that. So everything is backwards :) its a lil confusing I know....
It was great but I kept paying attention to your sleeves, you kept pulling one down so it was longer than the other one, don't mind me just massive with OCD lmao
Tingle Bubba its alright, half way through the video my eyes are closed anyways lol but it was just really hard at some points because I do like to see touch as well, if that makes sense :P
Tingle Bubba Oh it's no big deal, if I had a MAJOR problem with it I wouldn't pass out watching it or even try to comment :P But for now, your videos are awesome, question , could you possibly do a chalkboard writing video? I can't find any with moderate writing just the slow scraping type stuff, it kills my ears :P
Umm if I can find a chalkboard I'll let you know, otherwise it may mean I have to buy one in which case it'll be a looong wait. I'm broke at the moment.... :P I'll do my best.
Bert Haimona I'm in Auckland :) Are you in New Zealand too? woot woot :D The video is flipped to match the sound because for some reason the sound flipped by itself. :)
Sooorry folks. Was recording sound using an ancient laptop (same one in my typing video) and later found out that having it charging at the same time caused the buzzing noise. Have since upgraded to an actual camera haha
