She didn’t have to ditch Nico to be her own person she could have done that at camp half blood. That was unnecessary and a decision made completely based off her own ambitions and desires

Zoë and Artemis had to literally go on and say that she would have a new family with the Huntresses and that she could see Nico every once in a while. Yeah, a part of her wanted to deviate from the “big sister” image she created for Nico and be her own person, but she still wasn’t devoid of any care for him upon getting the offer to join the Hunt.
I think Jason is a Hufflepuff. He was always trying to find a compromise for everyone to get along and stay safe. He's also very determined about doing things and wanting to see them through, which could also be seen as a Slytherin trait. I don't know. He's got the "Golden Boys" vibes and that reminds me a bit of Cedric.
I agree with Annabeth baing in Slytherin. Her most powerful emotions (?) are ambition and pride, which makes her be in Slytherin. Her fatal flaw is pride which further proves the point.
nico is hard to sort for me, i can see an argument for slytherin because he is very ambitious (trying his hardest to talk to bianca and bring her back to life, trying to get answers about his mom) and both of them are for personal gain, esp bringing percy to hades for info about his mom cuz he had to be very sneaky about it. he is on the good side but he also tends to do things on his own and keeps secrets, and is also very self-sufficient and resourceful as a result (then again he seems to desire more to be apart of something as well)
I also think Nico was a Hufflepuff. I’d probably have to reread to see if I agree with Jason being a Slytherin but you are 1000000% correct with Octavian.

I think Nico is 100 percent a Gryffindor, he expressed a lot of courage throughout the series, he has a lot of hufflepuff traits but he went through House of Hades alone, was brave enough to face Cupid to save his friends and face his father to save Percy, amongst many other events

I mean, all he wanted was to find real friends, and the Sorting Hat literally said in the first book, “or perhaps in Slytherin, you’ll make your real friends”. I think he’d be a Slytherin because he was willing to bend the rules and is less careful than a Hufflepuff. As a Hufflepuff, I’m saying this so it really makes me distraught to know Nico isn’t a character. If we look at Percy’s motivation, he’d be a hundred percent a Hufflepuff, but it really matters how people execute their motivation. If Nico was more careful and took heed to what Percy said about Bianca not wanting to be resurrected, then he’d be Hufflepuff for sure. But it’s his execution that shows he’s a Slytherin, not a Hufflepuff. If we were looking at motivation alone, Percy would be Hufflepuff, Annabeth, Slytherin, Grover, Hufflepuff, Jason, Gryffindor, Piper, Hufflepuff, Leo, Gryffindor, Hazel, Gryffindor, Frank, Gryffindor, Nico, Hufflepuff. Based on motivation, almost half of the Seven are Gryffindors. But if we actually delve deep into their characters, and how they chose to go after their motivation, everything changes.
I agree with most of these, and FINALLY someone agrees with me that Leo is a Ravenclaw and Annabeth is a Slytherin! I'd put Percy in Hufflepuff, because his fatal flaw is loyalty. (Also, maybe a little of the same biased as yours since I'm a VERY proud Hufflepuff!) Piper's a Slytherin in my head. She's very cunning and manipulative (not in a bad way) but she screams Slytherin to me. Jason would be a Gryffindor in my head. He's a natural leader and very chivalrous from what character he has. Nico could be a Slytherin, I mean, the way he brought Percy to the underworld in TLO was pretty Slytherin-like, but I also feel like he'd also make a decent Gryffindor, especially with the mental power it takes to go through what he went through. Lastly Octavian. I'm going to have to say Slytherin. I really didn't want to, because I hate the whole "bad guys in Slytherin" thing, but he just fits. He's ambitious and power-hungry. He also has the same stuck-up attitude as Malfoy (though Draco definitely matures and Octavian? Not so much.) Well, that's my take.
If we're basing it on character motivation Percy is a Hufflepuff. You can say otherwise but you are wrong. His fatal flaw was being loyal. How many quests did he go on to save someone? I don't remember. A lot of them, at least the first three. Homeboy fell into Tartarus for and with his girl, yes it was stupid but it was Hufflepuff stupid.

I'm not really sure about where to put Jason, and Nico would fit in all houses (I guess). His fatal flaw is holding grudge (i guess that's mostely slytherin), and his other main characteristics are quite solo (slytherin), quite impulsive (gryffindor), quite brave (also gryffindor), quite naive, he trusted minos and hades, (not sure to which house this belongs, gonna skip it for now), big amount of willpower (definitely hufflepuf), short temper (doesn't really belong to an specific house, although i guess it's most frequently seen at gryffindor). Counting, he has 4 times slytherin and 5 times gryffindor, so according to this way of thinking he's a gryffindor, but his fatal flow is slytherin, so that counts for some more i guess? Slytherin and gryffindor are now tied, but we at least know he wouldn't really fit in ravenclaw or hufflepuf. I myself would call him a slytherin, cause they are more solo than gryffindor, but he also has al lot of gryffindor treats
I think I'm probably the only one who thinks Nico is a Ravenclaw. Idk I feel like he just spends a lot of time being like "alright we need to go to this place and this is the steps we need to take when we get there, and this is the person we need to talk to who will have the information we need, also here's some random mythology information I know for some reason". Like he's good in a fight but his biggest strength seems to be gathering information and employing it where it is needed. Also I might be projecting because I identify with Ravenclaw but it's my headcanon and I'm sticking with it Also I know it plays into the "evil slytherin" stereotype, but I do feel Octavian would be Slytherin. In SoN it's established that he is good with manipulating crowds, and as soon as Reyna left he placed himself into a high position of power. It just feels like it fits the "cunning and ambitious" category I do like the unconventional take of putting Annabeth in Slytherin, though. Now that I think of it, it does fit

I would say that I would put Nico in Ravenclaw, he came up with an entire plan that helped Percy become as good a fighter as Achilles. I’m not saying anyone else could do that but to me Nico gives off some Ravenclaw vibes a bit.

Okay I think Percy is a Slytherin and here's why.But first lets get one thing out of the way, Slytherins are cunning,ambitions,good leaders, and resourceful.Okay so back to Percy being a Slythein. 1: Percy is a good leader for obvious reasons, but one of the biggest reason is that he lead Camp Half-blood in The Battle of Manhattan and they won. 2: He is resourceful,for example in House of Hades when he and Annabeth are getting betrayed (even though they knew it was going to happen) by Akhlys Percy uses Akhlys own poison and tears to fight her.3: He is ambitions. He does a ton of things that most demi-gods never dreamed of doing, much less doing. Some examples are that he fought Ares for he could return Hade's relm of darkness to him and for he could give Zeus his lighting bolt, he did't give up to Kronos or Gaea and lose hope, and he held up the sky so that Artemis could fight. 4: He is cunning because in Mark of Athena when Golden boy and his kind of dolphin crew come on The Argo ll Percy realizes that he can't out duel Golden boy so he goes for a different approach. He uses Diet Coke ( obviously much more happens but it will take a while and this thing is getting long and it isn't even done yet) to make Golden boy's crew think that Dionysus is their leader and will punish them like he is "punishing" Percy and his friends. And just saying the description to cunning is has the ability to achieve things in a clever way, often by deceiving other people. So yeah, I really think that Percy is a Slytherin.
IMMEDIATE sub and like the minute you put Annabeth in Slytherin. The fandom just puts her there because she's smart and has Athena as her mom. Listen, she COULD be Ravenclaw, but her whole motivation for doing things? To leave a mark. To gain power and respect. She is above all ambitious, determined, and resourceful in my books. Slytherin is just the correct take. edit: NOOOO Jason my boy, he's an amazing character! He's a Hufflepuff in my books. Also I 100% agree with Ravenclaw Leo, and imo? Luke could be Hufflepuff. But an evil one. I think he's so focused on family and those connections he never had as a kid, when he realized he could never have them, when his family betrayed him, that's what sent him down the path of evil. His love of family was betrayed. But, Slytherin also works, given his bold, ambitious new view of the world. I also don't see Percy as ambitious at all, personally, he really just wants a quiet, chill life, that is ALL he wants. Unlike Annabeth who has a very clear vision of what she wants and those goals are quite lofty, his are always "Just survive til lunch", which, honestly, fair enough given his life.
The house you are sorted in, doesn't really depend on your personality, it depends more on what you value most. That is why Hermione was put in Gryffindor and not Ravenclaw, because she values her bravery above her intelligence. I think the opposite is ture for Annabeth. Yes, she was very brave and cunning, but she definitely values her wisdom above all else. Therefore, she should be a Ravenclaw, in my opinion, at least.
Oh no, no she very much does NOT value wisdom over everything else. She very much values ambition over anything else, everything comes second to her desire to be an architect.
It isn't an unpopular opinion. I also thought Annabeth is very much Slytherin! And Charlie is also one of my favorites, he was a hero for protecting our camp. But if he’s have survived, my siblings and I could have treated him :(
I definitely agree with Percy being in Gryffindor because he recklessly jump headfirst into situations and also he literally fell into Tartarus with the love of his life what is more brave than that nothing.

I think Annabeth would be a ravenclaw, I mean she's definitely ambitious and I can totally see why she could be a Slytherin but in the end she's just too smart and wise to not be in Ravenclaw, and who says Ravenclaws can't be ambitious? This is just my opinion though,she fits Slytherin well too

As a Hufflepuff, I think Bianca doesn't deserve to be in Hufflepuff because when you take care of someone for ten years you can't just leave them at the first sign of what seems to be a better offer and be a Hufflepuff. I think Grover would be better as a Gryffindor. I think this because even though Grover is very loyal and kind, He's most known for his Bravery. He was scared so many times of things but he forced through it anyway. I think he would be kinda like Neville. He would be good in Hufflepuff but he's a true Gryffindor.
Nico should be Ravenclaw ( not because I'm a ravenclaw and he's my fav) but because he likes to be alone...he likes to think....he is creative yes cause shadow traveling is a craft at the end of the day which needs you to focus...he is resourceful....he is clever (he tricked percy nicely is the last Olympian)....and he is a quick learner ( he learnt the underworld stuff quite quickly)....so yeah Nico is a Ravenclaw....
I will sort the characters in the exact same houses, except that I'll put Chiron in Ravenclaw, and with Percy I think he's actually a Hufflepuff (his fatal flaw is loylaity), but if he isn't, then Gryffindor. But I'm so happy that someone realised how Slytherin Annabeth is, especially in The Battle of the Labrynth, and also beacause her fatal flaw is pride (Slytherin here). And about the characters that you didnt sort (IMO): - Jason is a Gryffindor, or maybe a Hufflepuff, but only because these are the only houses I can see him in. - Nico has some Ravenclaw traits, but I think he's mostly a Slytherin. - Octavian is a Slytherin for the same reason than Jason. There are some charactes that I'm not sure about, so please comment what you think.

I'd put nico in slytherin, due to most of how he was in he third book of PJO, he was really ambitious and determined avout his own ideals, kinda without caring about anyone. And Jason for me is a obviously Hufflepuff, even he is really brave and a leader, I don't know for me he's pretty loyal and friends, u know.
i think annabeth should be ravenclaw really, she's pretty smart. While she is ambitious, she doesnt seem like the taking over the world sort. But she might be in Griffindor though, given how her role in Percy Jackson is like the same as Hermione's in Harry Potter, and both of them are like smart and kind etc

I personally think they get sorted by what they value most. For example, Percy values loyalty the most, so he would be Hufflepuff, and for Annabeth, she values Wisdom and/or intelligence so she would be Ravenclaw. Although for me Slytherin would be the second choice. Also I think Jason would be Gryffindor. Piper is a Slytherin in my opinion. Leo would also be Gryffindor because he has wits he just prefers not to use them as said in his quote: "I try not to think. It interferes with being nuts." And he also tends to go into situations without thinking. He kind of has an 'act first, think later." Attitude. And Bianca could be a Slytherin.
@@Unclaimeddemigod The only reason that Hermione got placed in Gryffindor is because she was courageous. The sorting hat completely ignored the fact that she was a literal genius and that being brave isn't necessarily a honorable trait all of the time. In Ravenclaw, her gifts wouldn't just be used to get the boys out of situations that they pulled her into and to do their homework. Also, I need to point out that the only Ravenclaw characters that Mrs. Rowling highlighted were all jerks, like Cho and Marietta. The only one that she gave good traits was Luna, and even then she only pointed out her flaws, which is completely unfair, because Luna is by far the best character in the entire series(sorry if I'm ranting. I just get so aggravated at all of the common misconceptions about Ravenclaw)
