One thing that lets my #1950s #classiccar down is its appearance. In this video, I call in a much needed professional to apply some #paint #rectification to its faded exterior. Will the decades old paint respond to some tlc?.

The Standard 10 is such an underrated car . Much better than minors etc . I have owned three of these in the past . Great long lasting engine , comfortable and faily quiet . The do tend to burn exhaust valves but easy to fix . Yours looks wonderful .... I am jealous !!!

The Standard came out well! Thanks to both yourself and Justin for bringing back the paintwork, it looks brilliant! Yes, there are chips and whatnot, but it is all original, and it is original once! Alex, how does it drive?

ACTUALLY, the chromework was already excellent! One less thing to worry about. Is the chrome original? If that would have been a Volkswagen, it wouldn't have lasted.

Many thanks. film making is a long term passion of mine, and Payback was a great experience. It was a few months of planning work, from writing the script, choosing the film locations, casting ( i used close friends most of which had never acted before) and I also filmed it and did all the editing!. Im quite proud of it. Thank you for your kind words!.

Any experts here? I had a 10 with two small round lights on each side at the front. I cant for the life of me see any other car with indicator and side lights. They all have just one small round white light on either side. Was this an option or a modification someone made to mine. Always looked factory to me. Anyone know???
