"There's more to a story than being realistic" That's one of the things I found myself loving most about Assassination Classroom, it wasn't afraid to be "weird" and did a great job at using visual metaphors and storytelling.

Manga girl is one of my favorite background characters and moments like she telling the story about Korosensei and his brother is a great example of why My favorite scene in this episode is without a doubt Nagisa understanding that after all these classes, they can no longer accept people outside of 3E killing Korosensei. They need to close that cycle themselves

Itona's VA is Megumi Ogata, she voices Shinji from neon genesis. And makoto/komaeda from danganronpa, also many more like Yami yugi from season zero of yugioh so yee

In english Korosensei's line about the tentacles was "Those tentacles... why does someone like you have them!?" - which is in line with what you discussed. Thought that was interesting.

this ep and the next two, or rather the chapters they pertain to, were what really sold me on the series, i liked it before hand but they really are the ones that hooked me

Once again I have to give it to the dub at the end of the duel. "You may be exceptionally strong, but I am exceptionally CLEVAH! Yeeheehee!" Then: "In yo face! I win, nani-nani-boo-boo, etcetera etcetera." The original is far more serious and clear, but the dub is just plain hilarious.

here's some non-spoilery reasons why Shiro ISN'T the principal: -one thing they brought up as him recognising nagisa or something (unless I'mmisunderstanding what they were saying), but nothing points to the principal actually knowing or caring about the individual students of the end class, and its likely he was reacting for different reasons -saying anti-teacher weapons is not a point as its just the subs being weird and the official translations (in the manga) use anti-korosensei instead, and either way that distinction isn't a point regardless -what is the point of the disguise? The principal is the principal of this awful bullshit school, he has nothing to gain from hiding his identity as well as nothing tying him to Korosensei (otherwise they would've recognised each other long time ago) and we've SEEN the principal walking around before so what would be the point of disguising himself? plus nothing points to the principal knowing anything about Korosensei,not like shiro does, nor him having access to a person who's somehow simialr to korosensei. -the principal and shiro have clearly very different goals

Itona is my least favorite character in the class. I dont know why. Maybe its because he was very annoying during his introduction and really didnt do much later on.

I love Assasination Classroom but honestly the dub is so much better.
