SoT Tall Tales Part 1: Shroudbreaker Complete Guide (All Mercia's Journals)

Ahoy Maties! Welcome to the Tall Tales, part of the Anniversary Update in Sea of Thieves!
This video is a complete guide to the Shroudbreaker mission with all Mercia Journal locations in order to make progress in obtaining all commendations associated with this Tall Tale!
**Keep in mind that you may get a different totem, which will correspond to a different vault location, the video shows the scarab totem. Below is the corresponding island for each totem:
Boar Totem - Devil's Ridge
Crab Totem - Uncharted Island (Where Magpie boat is at N13/14)
Moon Totem - Crescent Isle
Scarab Totem - Crook's Hollow
Snake Totem - Mermaid's Hideaway
Shark Totem - Kraken's Fall
*Also, the directions to the chest that contains the totem can be different, but just follow the directions similarly to how I show you to approach the puzzle in the video and you can easily locate where they dropped the chest*

Can somebody please tell me how to unlock the sunken legacy commendation? I have only got that one to go to complete the shroud breaker and I’m stuck. Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated 🙂👍

Most journal locations are at places where the tale takes you...much easier now than when they came out bc there are guides now!

My shroudbreaker has 3 commendations left. Sunken legacy, 3/5 completed, and complete all commendations. Do I have to do anything special for those?

He said sunken legacy was after you complete all the shroudbreaker commendations. I just think it's weird they basically have 2 of the same commendations. That's why I'm asking

Just to let ya know there is a glitch if you leave the island after doing the puzzle and don’t get the medallions, then the table won’t show where they are thus not being able to get the medallions.

xxDAMRONxx Well me and my buddy were doing that step and he was still on the boat because we had been getting chased by a galleon the entire game while we were in a sloop. They came to the island and started to attack so I hopped on the ship and after we sunk them I went back to find the medallions and the areas where you light the table won’t work.

You can go to the final location. Just keep in mind it may or may not be paradise spring.

This mission and all missions going forward have variations and you can get any of the variations when you play. I try to show all variations in the tales after this one
