Sotol Acronimo is a new female lead brand that is made from two types of Dasylirion (Wheeleri and Cedrosanum). This is a delicious offering of Sotol and unique due to the flavor of the Cedrosanum.
Beautiful bottle, but no producer shown on label. I believe it is made by Casa Ruelas (contract distillery with 10+ brands made there). I hope the abv would have been higher, so it could be referenced as an example of a traditional farmer sotol. Entry distillate for sipping and mixing. Could feel bland for the seasoned enthusiast.
Thanks for sharing. The producer is Gerardo Ruelas. It would be great to try a higher proof version of this. Definitely not bland due to the forward taste of Cedrosanum which is not common in Sotols in the market. If you haven't tried and you like Sotol, I recommend you check it out.
