After watching this, it's come to my attention that Soul Calibur REALLY needs a fisticuffs type character. Almost half of these don't use weapons when they fight.
Closest one is talim using her forearm punching weapons. Other than that no one in the series used fists other than Tekken characters and soul calibur is about blades but punches but a punch set would be great.

Jump Force is actually doing the same thing. They aren't putting as m,any characters as they could so they can work on and tweak their character creation. Now just to wait and see if its just as good
Liquido Suave uhhh tbh i don’t remember the exact source. It was a guy doing a review of the game cause he got an early Japan copy. I watched the video a few weeks back and he was talking about how JumpForce could have more characters but he likes the fact they’re doing customization like SC because rather than getttint an extra 5 or so characters it means we can have any character we choose
Ethan Ku yeah it flopped character creation wise - will admit it had more character creation options than a lot of stuff but it wasn’t close to soul caliber still. And it was just an anime fighting game. The fighting was very new comer friendly and was a fun game but in my own play time fell off after awhile
100 Anime inspired creations and there's not one I didn't like. You definitely did a great job as you were faithful to the original designs. My hat's off to you, It obviously took ages and focus to pull it off.
i dont know about this game with the creation gear havent played it yet but in SC3 the only way to make inuyasha is to make a female cuz they were the only one to get the ears

@Element Punk Ohhh....Create A Soul? Yeah no, never heard that one. It's always been Character Creation. Or Custom Character Creation Mode. Back since Soul Calibur 3...So never would have thought it meant "A Soul" LOL. Thanks

We might do one last group of 100 characters once some armor dlc drops! Notes: 1. Currently editing characters for the tutorial video based on feedback. 2. Some chars are girls because hairstyles and equips are limited by sex. 3. We're doing a Japanese voice video next time and for the tutorial video for these characters. 4. We called this "anime" but we also included characters who are heavily inspired by anime in some way. Next video, we'll be stricter on the definition.
Holy fuck theyre all so good. This is why i love soul calibur; theres no other game out there that comes even close to the level of creatively and extent the character customization is
When I showed my cousin the Full Metal characters,he convinced himself the voices was recorded and edited to match their character,so I proved it by showing Naruto!He was like,"Oh!" XD
It's really strange watching them fight without their staple weaponry... also, Alphons cracked his neck at the start of his clip?! HE DOESN'T HAVE A NECK!

Dude that version of Guts from Berserk at 12:58 looks MAD terrible, luckily I got a pretty perfect/accurate version of Guts if anyone wants to see. SAME GOES FOR THAT VERSION OF DIO AT 18:19.
It is insane how they got the voices to match as well, or at least as close as possible. Even though some of them weren't really all that good, I at least respect the effort.

I think that soul calibur should of capitolized with their character creation mode this time around since this is the game that tells namco if they want to keep the game or not as stated. They should of did an full all out story mode with them (they kinda did but not really as much effort as i wish they had)

The extremely low voice quality matches the equally low quality of the terrible Japanese children's cartoons that these cosplays are based off of. So what's the problem? You reap what you sow.
