This obviously leads to the equivalent of the events of SC2 in this timeline, siegfried becoming nightmare again, the corruption of soul calibur and his absorption into inferno, the quest for collecting the fragments of the swords. I wonder if in the next season the events will span all the way to SC4, it would be cool as there is a clue that algol might return.
Sort of Rafael comes in and fights nightmare but nightmare hasn’t completed souledge and was on a weak state thus after Rafael pierced souledge in the eye Siegfried was freed from soul edge and soul calibur appeared thus he uses it to plunge soul edge for good measures and ending it once and for all
Actually, definitely not the next season, but the next game. That's why they even put a "To be continued." This is clearly the ending of the story of SCVI.
Am I the only one to compare the Schwarzwind with the Hawks from Berserk? I mean those are two mercenaries group, they have two charismatic leaders, an hot chick that is in love with them, then a disgrace happened and the two group are passing hard time. The only difference is that Siegfried has a consciousness, while Griffith is a son of a bitch!
When that day comes, I may be getting the feeling that Soul Calibur VII might be the biggest game yet. The anticipation is real. I hope we hear something from it soon.
I lost my shxt when I saw Curtis, like no joke man... I want to save him somehow... I played Mitsurugi's interlude first and when Acht mentioned him I couldn't believe that he could possibly still be alive. (I suppose Grøh's side story technically alluded to the idea first) (I'm digging his edgy Smash Bros palette/costume swap too lol)
@@foxalive1772 He'll be glad to see him, But not about how dark Curtis will play out in the future since Grøh was the one who used to be dark while Curtis was more bright (As an light, not about the brains), It be crazy if he turns out to be a playable character in his own flesh for Season 3 of DLC, Fights like Grøh but different kind of style in his own unique way.
@@leonduncan3327 I'd say that is highly unlikely. However, that would be AWESOME. For a side character, Curtis is well introduced and has a good foundation. So I wouldn't argue with him becoming a staple character (I mean, him and Grøh could have a Sophitia/Cassandra gimmick. Same weapons, different move sets? I think it would work)
That was always a factor. Seigfried is at the edge of his rope, but he's fighting Nightmare every step, he just can't take control of his body while defending SoulCalibur. He made it his goal to protect the sword.
I really wanna see the story continue. A hypothetical SoulCalibur VII could combine the plots of II, III and VI into one cohesive narrative if you see them as acts. At the same time, there could be some divergences that would make it even better like maybe Amy saves Raphael from becoming malfested, Taki and Cassandra saving Sophitia's life, Mitsurugi becoming the hero with both swords in hand, Kilik living with and accepting his own malfested form. While Bandai Namco deems SoulCalibur VI a success, it doesn't guarantee a sequel because it sold 2 million in comparison to Tekken 7's 9 million, the sales of SCVI are no higher than SCIV's sales back in 2008 and Motohiro Okubo left Bandai Namco for NetEase, so the the series is without a shepherd yet again. Even if a Tekken 8 comes and becomes a financial success, it still doesn't mean SCVII could happen.
