Soul Calibur 6 - Siegfried Story Mode (Cutscenes Only / Soul Chronicle / Character Episode) 

Holy shit, right from the start it’s already sad. It’s heartbreaking to hear Siegfried sound in such as state. Seeing Siegfried scared, shattered, and just loosing hope after his sins make me feel bad for him.

Man hearing Siegfried in such a sorry state in the beginning of this chapter, I really wanted to give him a cup of tea and a hug.

Even in the Alternate Continuity, he still can't catch a break.

Kirk Thornton did a good job as Siegfried.

This game had such great voices for siegfried and nightmare.

I was playing his story mode and I just thougt "GOD, BRING HIM A DOCTOR, A PSYCHIATRIST AND SOME COOKIES FOR THIS GUY PLEASE!!!" 💔💔💔😭

I initially wasn't too fond of Kirk Thornton voicing him (SC III voice FTW!), but after playing his story, it's grown on me. I love how he made Siegfried sound so broken and vulnerable. Most vulnerable: Kirk Thornton (SC VI) Most badass: Crispin Freeman (SC III) Most memorable: Ted D'Agostino (Siegfried is Nightmare again in SC II)

If I had seen Sigefried crying all alone and being targeted, I would help him to repent his sins and move on. He was so only a baby when soul edge decided to take control of his body Poor thing TuT

Truly an awesome playthrough it was. Siegfried is my favorite fighting game protagonist of all time along with Terry Bogard of Fatal Fury overall I loved this lore behind my favorite character in SC and of all time and this story truly makes you feel for him the anguish, guilt and despair from all he had to endure such as coming to the realization he murdered his father after going insane convincing himself someone else had done it and takes the first hard step in accepting it was he and the influence of Nightmare making him murder hundreds of people through his initial torn unstable state being manipulated by Soul Edge and thus being a host to it’s power. In spite of all this he becomes determined to settle the score and seek redemption for all he is guilty for total brilliant character and Soul Chronicles goes in further depth of this lore along with every other fighter, to me Siegfried is more than just a character he is inspirational a character I find myself relating with and looking up in spite of all my fuck ups in the past determination can redeem all the times I was powerless and fueled by anger and hatred to make situation better for myself and those near to me this is why Siegfried is my favorite character.

Kirk Thornton was a good Siegfried. But Crispin Freeman will always be THE Siegfried.

Pause@ 4:59 - "Soul Edge could NOT be scratched, let alone broken by a normal weapon" which is not entirely true as by this statement "Drawing on his last strength, Raphael unleashed a desperate final blow upon his enemy. The strike pierced the centre of Soul Edge" quoted from SC3 Museum Siegfried. By Siegfried grasping Soul Edge knowing he has to save Soul Calibur (the only weapon that can properly oppose Soul Edge) from being devoured, he has to risk becoming Nightmare. But just stopping Soul Calibur from being eaten isn't enough that's the conclusion Siegfried comes to at 10:19 "But if the sword's power is unleashed someday...that time it will come" he has to FREE Soul Calibur from inside Soul Edge while he's Nightmare for the time being (the duration of Soul Calibur 2) this then makes the above quote about Raphael & Nightmare make sense, which leads to the intro of Soul Calibur 3 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fBMsOTltKJY.html - he free's Soul Calibur & himself in the process which the leads him to being the personification of Soul Calibur by the end of events of SC3 which he dies, but is resurrected by Soul Calibur which gives him his crystal armor and Soul Calibur itself as his main weapon in SC4.

really surprised and pretty sad they showed Siegfried mourning. i was expecting the writers to just present him as an angsty edgelord like usual lol but this shows character depth

Obviously he should’ve rejected Sophitia’s offer to help him to redeemed himself. Because he would have been a better man for her, instead of Rothion. Which would make him the kind of father that Pyrrha & Patroklos need to be strong as both him & their mother.

Seriously, I have the impulse of pointing out a lot of stuff in this small portion of the story mode but I feel like if I do, people will come after me, because it's not precisely good stuff... Uhm... I like the art. I like that sprite when he says "Yes I can, I am Nightmare". It has a very submissive gaze almost saying "please just end me already". And I like how the artist put a random hair strand in there cuz bishounen hair... Uhm... uhm... Ow the edge?

How do you unlock his soul chronicle? I've only finished the main story and Siegfried doesn't have any soul chronicle in mine.

I doubt will ever see Siegfried come back again since we all know what happens in sc2 hope that they will continue this being that 6 will might be the last one if the sales will be down I wish they can make one more to conclude his story

I don't like the voice actor. I know this character is supposed to feel guilt pain and sorrow but he sounds too high pitch. It sounds fake and overly dramatic. I prefer a deeper voiced more serious va. This didnt sit well with me.
