I think his response should have been, "You don't have to. I was also included." After all, Batman made certain to detail his greatest weaknesses should he ever falter and have to be stopped, and Vandal Savage used those, too.
@@DarkPegasus87 No, he has no plan for himself, thats why Savage ned to improvise and the batman plan fail and he rescue the league. After that, he told the league that the plan to stop a bad batman is call justice league and thats all.
@@mytotim8978 isn’t the bat who laughs literally about him dunking on the entire justice league because he has contingencies specifically for them? calling literally anyone else would be more effective.
Man, Flash's reaction to Batman's sacrifice is just so sad. He can't say anything, he just sits down and just sort of...deactivates... It's heartbreaking.
I like how after superman saves batman from the watchtower at the last second and bruce come to he says something like "you didnt have to do that" and all supes could say was "the world needs batman"
@@PHEONYX79 What's interesting is, if you look at how that went about...Batman was so far ahead of the rest of the team that he KNEW any one of the rest of them, with powers, would wait far too long to save themselves knowing they could. He knew that Superman, knowing his closest and best friend in the entire galaxy was about to die, would wait until Batman wouldn't resist being rescued, and then rescue him. And that was the only way to get the watchtower on target and get everyone out alive.
My absolute favorite Batman moment happened somewhere early in New 52, where his training with (I think) Lady Shiva. He is fighting in the pit, and is not allowed to exit it until either he dies, or he kills someone. Shiva makes the remark how he will be forced to abandon his silly ideology of not killing, only to be informed by one of her minions how no one dares enter the pit anymore. They've all become deathly terrified of the Batman.
Just imagine if it were Lord Batman in that pit. He'd be out before anyone had a reason to fear him. Man, it really shows how bad Darkseid is that he can break the person in the DC universe with the strongest willpower huh?
@@TopFlix One of my favourite Batman scenes ever!!! 😊😊😊 I don't know for sure but I think Batman may have been throwing that fight a bit, stalling, waiting for the opportune moment to "strike". After all, he is strategically meticulous 😉
The greatest batman Thug Life moment to date is when he beats four Hyperclan aliens, when even Superman lost to just one of them. The Hyperclan leader says: "No. He's just one man!" and Superman replies: "The most dangerous on earth". Total bad ass.
Exactly :). That why most people get so ticked when the comics decide to show Batman negatively. Not referring to when he is possessed or keeping a database of Superhero weaknesses, or anything like that (situation like Apocalypse War). I mean just trying way to hard to show him as a dark anti-hero - borderline villain as opposed to the ultimate hero he actually is.
His whole power is the fact he doesn't have any powers yet stands with literal gods without backing down. A representation of humanity's unwillingness to let fate dictate who comes out on top. I love it so much.
My favorite thug moment is when Batman is making his plans to defeat the Justice League if they ever become threats and when he gets to his own, even as he acknowledges his weaknesses, he basically tells the listener that if they use one of his loved ones to distract him they better make damn sure he’s dead. “THINK VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU DO THIS”.💀
There is an episode from Batman TAS (I Think), where he and Zatanna go to visit a demon lord for information. On the way back to the car, Zatanna tells Batman, "You want to know something? When demons want to scare themselves, they tell Batman stories."
@@iamacat9400 I believe the voice actor has been interviewed about this and he said that they basically had in mind Batman say something of "I know where you live" kind of threat XD
@@devilslefthanddemon1154 Well as I said I believe it was what the voice actor said himself. That the threat was that he knows where he lives. At least that was the plan. Maybe Zoe's name was also mentioned in it
For me Batman ‘s thug life moment is in Arkham Origins where he and Alfred have an argument and Bruce says: “I’m the reason why criminals breathe easier when the sun rises! So, No Alfred i am not in over my head!”. Dear God, I love the scene. Probably my fav Batman moment both in comics and other media.
Standing up to Amanda Waller and her soldiers, backed up by Superman and Aquaman. Batman smirks, "Mine are bigger than yours." Still my favorite moment.
Gotta hand it to Waller for her response though. Waller: "Stand down...he's free to go with you, for however long he's got." Batman: "Who are you people?" Waller: "That's a national security matter... and if I were you I wouldn't probe the situation too closely ......... Rich Boy" Had Batman shook for a second.
I love your take on his 'power', here's mine: Batman's power is him having 'no' power. It is untraceable, literally to a meta level. At the same time, he is the literal paragon of humanity. He knows almost everything (literally), he has almost every skill up to and including combat abilities. His ability to heal would make him worthy of several different scientific studies. But he has 'no' power.
When the batwing gets blown out of the sky in Justice League Animated Series, Batman just casually says, "Batman to all points. I could use air support." As he is about to hit the earth he says, "now would be good" before Superman saves him. This dude had complete faith in his friends to save him and didn't waver or panic. Legit.
You missed the one when he took a jet to stop a nuclear attack that would have killed Superman and Doomsday on some tropical island. Also, Public enemy ending and some more :)
My favorite Batman moment was when he made Darkside believe he would destroy the entire earth rather than let him have it I think it was Superman justice league doom maybe can’t remember
It wasn't Earth. It was Apokalips, DarkSeid's homeworld. "Well Played. If the Kryptonian or the Amazon had tried that I wouldn't have believed them...but you, you're a human. Your people kill your own kind." For once humanity's general terribleness plays in our favor.
I like the moment Batman apprehended a Kaznian agent. The agent, who was speaking in Kaznian, said Batman can't understand anything he says, and that he wouldn't tell Batman anything even if he could. Pausing briefly, Batman then replied fluently in Kaznian "I can... and you will." The camera then pans to the masked face of the agent. You can almost imagine the seeing the fearful expression underneath.
I love how that last clip, batman trapped a Martian, an alien who can phase through matter, in a box in space 🤣 Jon said "fuck that, dude makes a good point, I'll stay here"
What I think is so incredible is that the writers keep supporting the Batman mythos. They don’t always get it correct; but they are dang consistent. I am deeply moved by this fiction.
"That man won't give up as long as he can still draw a breath; none of my teammates will! Me, I've got a different problem..." Everyone remembers Superman going all out against Darkseid, and the World of Cardboard speech, but no one remembers the fact that Batman fought against impossible odds, simply by trying to land a blow against a god...
The best part of that is how he argues with supes on the league tower. ""cry me a river"" .... Or after he gets posioned. Goes full detective before telling John Jones ""i am takibg the shuttle, [[bat stare]] unless you are going stop me."" .... martian steps aside with a simple nope
I remember reading somewhere, not sure if it was canon or not, but the thing I read mentioned that Batman may actually have a super power. The person writing it said his power was basically unlimited dexterity. That is how Batman is able to move, and learn physical techniques so easily.
The moment at :26 seconds, his smirk on his face always gets me, the editors need so much credit for that little smirk on his face when he says "oh wait I did" it just makes Batman look and seen like he's so much smarter and ahead of any bad guys schemes....
dude definitely has superpowers at least when compared to real humans…..dude’s a physically perfect human far surpassing olympic level and is a super genius that’s also mastered all forms of martial arts lol
There's a moment at the end of "Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths" that tops, they need a speedster to open a portal and Batman gets Johnny Quick, the evil flash to do it by suggesting he's faster than flash, afterwards we see that souch speed super-aged him and he says "All that rubish about me being faster than Flash.....you knew this was gonna happen. Nice one mate" then dies.
Ironman has one cool iteration, the legendary RDJ movie portrayal, other than that, there is not even a comparison between the popularity (fan base) of Batman and Ironman.
Iron man comics are also good. You can see Tony's development and growth. His origin and his relationship with his brother is mess and confusing. That time when he was an AI was a twist for me. You can't deny that he has some cool armours and gadgets. At some point everybody must have dreamt about wearing cool armours.
Imagine both having a cup of tea and they start having a conversation about how Batman had plot armor and the universe just won't let Superman die, that would be very intriguing and daring to say the least. Also, my comment got highlighted? 😶
That "Boo!" in JL: Dark had me in stitches when I first watched it. Still funny, though. Also, the last one hits hard every time, even though I've seen it many times.
The line when he interrogated Deadshot was “I know where you live, Floyd” The voice actor revealed that’s what he said. Makes that scene so much more intimidating.
7:42 Hands down the best looking Batman, that cowl, chin piece the fact you his ears have like a definition to the mask and not just flat like he doesnt have any ears. This is the greatest looking Batman
Batman is truly a really good hero and an excellent character and that ending scene "its been an honour" was so sad and cool at the same time, I know batman survived in that episode but it was still so amazing.
Reminds me of Arkham Knight where at the end of the Penguin side mission with Nightwing, Batman tells Dick that it's the end, this is the last time they meet. That always hit hard.
9:27 i remember those as well, flash was in a bomb on the bus scenario, wonder woman thought everyone was funny furry, jhon couldn't stop burning, bat-man was put in his parent's coffin, superman was shot by a kryptonite bullet, cyborg..... i forgot what happened to him, green lantern though his love was dead so he gave up the ring
In the JL/JLU cartoon he had even MORE Thug Life moments. - when he saves Supes from a kryptonite missile - when he owned Amanda Waller (leader of Project Cadmus) by sneaking into her highly guarded house and had a good talk with her - when he let the Joker and the Injustice Gang capture him to keep tabs on them - another one when he told the Flash exactly how to defuse a timebomb all the while he was fistfighting with members of the first Royal Flush Gang - and again when he and Supes were manhandling a couple of villains while casually talking about -Captain Marvel- "Shazam" - etc
"Then you're damn fools!" I agree with The Batman, he's just being pragmatic, they've obviously faced foes with the ability to possess, they've even fought evil versions of themselves from alternate earths. And the way you neutralize Batman is to give him no time to prepare at all. If Superman just out of the blue bumrushed him, he might be able to kill him, but this is assuming that Batman isn't expecting this, and Superman is coming at him super sonic from an odd trajectory, like from straight underneath him.
6:30 Father and Son thing Lmao Flashpoint Batman (Thomas Wayne) did this method too against Joker's apprentice but the difference is he dropped her only to be saved by Cyborg
The line of looking into the abyss and not blinking holds do much more impact then one might think and honestly would make an interesting storyline. While learning all he could before becoming "The Batman" he did kill for the sake of justice but one and one death really sang home to him. Whether pushed to while being trained by Raz Alghoul (Dark Knight) and it actually being a completely innocent person and lied to. Or was just a honest mistake on his part and the PTSD from his parents deaths made him vow to never become what made him "The Batman". Having done the deed and the impact of it being a metaphorical "Final nail in the Coffin".
