I’ll always remember this song I remember when I was like 14 -15 playing playing this stage with my amy style fighter vs an amy master npc trying to get good for well over an hour till I felt like I got good !!
This track is in a league of its compared to the entire SCIV OST. And most of the series in its entirety, for that matter. It's even more evocative and weighty than its predecessor, Ephemeral Dream. Gold...
+MAXZONE47 Setsuka is european and was trained and raised in japan. She is in the games because she eternally chases Mitsurugi who is her teacher's killer.
@Kazilliams2021 I love that you say "This song just is", because that's the perfect way to describe it. It's like the japanese-buddhist philosophy. And of course, this song is a very traditional japanese style. Good choice of words.
Ephemeral Dream had a "European" tone by using mostly basic classical instruments. Innocent Vision uses traditional Japanesse insrtuments, giving it the tone I think it should be. (even though I cant tell if Setsuka is European or Japanesse in SC4)
The instrument you hear throughout the melody is a Japanese "Hichiriki." Its typically played along side the "sho." Both instruments can be heard togeather at the very beginning of the song as well as a gong. 😊
So many amazing characters and back stories in SC and they go for thoose good/evil swords plot and replacing characters with stupid teen copies of the originals, wath a waste.
Best theme in SC IV. I actually didn't like the SC IV ost. I like how SCV's had alot of soulblade / soulcalibur melodies to them but without a doubt the best track in the game imo.
